@sleonardaz @KobeissiLetter If you say this is a win for the USA...you are either an uninformed useful idiot, or a political shill with no honor. I'm truly stunned by how lopsided this agreement is. There is no other way to put it.

BREAKING: The US has released the full text of its 14-point "Memorandum of Understanding" with Iran. Key terms include: 1. The US, Iran, and their allies agree to immediately and permanently end military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon 2. The US and Iran agree to respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity and not interfere in each other's internal affairs 3. The US and Iran commit to negotiating and reaching a final deal within 60 days, unless mutually extended 4. The US will begin removing its naval blockade immediately and fully end the blockade within 30 days 5. Iran will use its best efforts to ensure safe passage for commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz for 60 days with no charge 6. The US and regional partners will develop a mutually agreed plan of at least $300 billion for Iran's reconstruction and economic development 7. The US will work toward terminating all types of sanctions against Iran, including UN, IAEA, primary, and secondary sanctions 8. Iran reaffirms that it will not procure or develop nuclear weapons and agrees to address its enriched material stockpile under IAEA supervision 9. Until a final deal is reached, Iran will maintain the current status quo of its nuclear program, while the US will impose no new sanctions and deploy no additional forces 10. The US Treasury will issue waivers for Iranian crude oil, petroleum products, derivatives, and associated banking, insurance, and transportation services 11. The US will make frozen or restricted Iranian funds and assets fully available for use 12. The US and Iran will establish an executive mechanism to monitor implementation of the MOU and future compliance with the final deal 13. After signing the MOU and implementing key ceasefire, blockade, shipping, oil waiver, and asset-release provisions, the US and Iran will begin final deal negotiations 14. The final deal will be endorsed by a binding UN Security Council resolution The memorandum will trigger a 60-day window to negotiate a final deal.

@mowtownmower @KobeissiLetter Well then it may be worse. I don’t see Trump bombing again, he can’t afford it, he already spent the political capital on round one and lost.

@sleonardaz @KobeissiLetter I’ve dealt with MOUs for years now. They’re typically a continue the conversation formality. Final agreements 99% looks different and I’d say 50% look drastically different.

If you actually want to know and are not just being mad about it for political dogma reasons. Iran giving up a nuclear program is now UN security council backed with international inspectors in a staged program with the carrot of released frozen funds and rebuild fund from GCC states. The old deal had no teeth and only incentives and very vauge checking on progress. According to all reports the old deal's obligations were ignored by Iran. UN security council backed is important here (assuming they approve it but I think they will as it allows the oil to flow) not because Russia or China will enforce it themselves but if Iran ever breaks the deal, the USA has a ready to go casus belli to redeploy the blockade and restart the war. This means other nations have little room to complain about future oil disruptions if this happens. So a future (or current) US president can just declare a violation if they feel Iran is lacking and restart the whole thing again. In geopolitics the ready to go casus belli is very valuable.

Nothing. Iran continues to say they won’t produce a nuke, which they always have said. A statement worth nothing. Iran gave up nothing notice the part about nuclear programs says “reaffirm” because it’s a return to what they’ve been saying. In return they get far more than they had prior to the war. This administration has negotiated a defeat from a position of power. Stunning to witness.

@AmericanBlood91 @KobeissiLetter The strait was never fully open, Iran retains the majority of its missiles by all estimates and can still threaten all of its regional neighbors. Now we give them oil revenue and money so they will negotiate? Weren’t they negotiating before the war?

This is why Trump has been desperate for a deal for two months. Trump’s super fans didn’t like me saying it, but it was true. People have all kinds of opinions on foreign policy and that’s fine. But Trump was looking at the global oil reserves and knew he HAD to come home.

For those who question Trump's motivations with the MOU they do no comprehend that Trump is not just trying to defeat Iran militarily, he us trying to win the peace. He is not just looking at the next news headline, he is looking at 10 years down the line, a more peaceful and prosperous world. Without a full ground invasion, it is IMPOSSIBLE to fully defeat Iran and the IRGC. You must weaken them and then realize it is in their own best self-interest to cooperate in the future. That's what Trump is going. Iran had a nuclear gun pointed at the world's head and Trump has taken away that gun. Now we must change the minds of the men holding that gun. This is how real change happens - by degrees.

There is a VIOLENT future coming to our country, and the radicalization driving it is being EXCUSED on the left AND the right, with people like Thomas Massie @RepThomasMassie and Tucker Carlson @TuckerCarlson egging it on. When Tucker calls President Trump @realDonaldTrump the ANTICHRIST, that rhetoric can push a religious fanatic to act, and some of the suspects the FBI just scooped up in the UFC 250 drone terror plot are members of the Woke Reich. Instead of codifying President Trump's agenda by passing bills like the SAVE Act, the GOP would rather pander for the votes of people posting antisemitic filth, even as it makes Jewish Americans and evangelicals less safe. That COWARDICE is putting us on track to hand the radical Left the House, the Senate, and the White House in 2028, unless Republicans start cracking down on the Woke Reich opp NOW.

Trump could not launch a ground invasion of Iran - the American people would not stand for thousands of our soldiers being killed for a shaky regime change. He could not bomb Iranian power and water plants without hurting the Iranian people he wants to help. So what is left if you want to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons? Economic carrots and sticks - pay for performance sanctions relief and allowing foreign investment. And that's exactly what he is doing.

🚨IRAN DEAL🚨 The White House listed portions of the Iran-U.S. peace agreement to reporters. Here’s what the White House revealed regarding the deal: • A memorandum outlines a $300 billion reconstruction and economic development plan for Iran by the U.S. and regional partners. The U.S. is not committing funds — it enables outside investment if Iran complies with a final deal. • Guarantees toll-free commercial transit through the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day negotiating period. Long-term arrangements deferred to future talks with Oman and Gulf states. • Does not resolve the core nuclear dispute. Both sides will negotiate Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile and future enrichment in the final agreement. • U.S. Treasury will issue waivers allowing export of Iranian crude oil, petroleum products, derivatives, and all related services (banking, insurance, shipping, etc.).
