Women are still being intimidated to not talk about their experiences. But how will things change if we say nothing? I was excited when this man followed me & then sent a DM. I thought that he saw my tweets looking for work & hoped that finally someone could help me get into the cycling industry! But he was looking for something else. I re-directed the first convo when he asked for pics & I talked about my work search. Then I got this. The experience made me feel cheap. He says his fiancée is ok with it; I'm not OK with it. He unfollowed & vanished after I didn't reply the way he wanted. A team press officer threatened me not to talk about it. They think they know who it is, so it's a known issue. They worry about looking bad. I'm not invested in how they look, nor in how he looks. I was sent topless photos, not offered a job or help.
