Opening a new window for a thread I need to follow while doing other work feels inefficient. Cross referencing and looking up information while keeping a thread open is now a multi step process- annoying :/

I could see potentially keeping the option to open in a new window, but defaulting to the original option to open in Split View feels more seamless. If I need to cross reference a conversation, opening in a new window does not allow for me to view both windows simultaneously

@SlackHQ my workflow has taken a huge toll now that the option to “Split View”is gone. Opening a convo into a new window does not allow for the same seamless side by side experience I once relied on for efficiency-and viewing one window on each side of the screen becomes clunky.

Without needing to “arrange” the windows side by side in the minimize toolbar options- now if you click on anything outside of the channel that you currently have a tread open on, the thread will close.

@SpotifyUSA I miss being able to expand the album art to be bigger and responsive with the side panel 🥲
