Ari and I were friends throughout training and our service, for just about 2 years, before his tragic passing, right before he was released from the army. Here is a photo I have with him on the day we finished training.

Amazing that we had 5 weeks of pure balagan for absolutely nothing. And no, I don't believe the stories that "we destroyed XX% of Iran's whatever capacities" because we've heard the same line over and over again with Hamas and Hezbollah and we are still fighting a full force.

Hatzalah were among the first to respond on 9/11. Volunteer Hatzalah units across NYC self-dispatched within minutes, arriving at the towers before most other EMS units could fully mobilize. 8 Hatzalah volunteers were killed in the line of duty when the towers collapsed. Hatzalah continued assisting in rescue and recovery efforts alongside the FDNY, NYPD and other EMS units for days after the terror attack.

“An Israeli citizen was detained at Taba Airport (Egypt) after putting on tefillin. A Haredi passenger was also reprimanded for studying Talmud while waiting for a flight. Following intervention by Israeli officials, the detained individual was released and allowed to board a later flight.” For those who say that life would be amazing under Arab rule….

Liel Hetzroni, 12, was burned alive on October 7th, 2023 by Hamas militants who invaded her village in Israel in an unprovoked attack🎗️ 🕯️Liel Hetzroni, forever 12 "They just found remnants of Liel... initially they didn't have enough pieces to make a formal identification," her father told BBC. Her father told BBC that so little was found of Liel's body that some of her toys were buried at her gravesite instead. "They identified her literally by sieving the remnants. This will unfortunately live with me for the rest of my life." The dad believes they were killed for just one reason. "It's something that is such a shock that people can do this to other human beings just because they were Jewish. "There was no other reason why these Hamas terrorists came in the kibbutz other than to kill, murder, maim Jewish children, babies, parents and old people all because they lived in the Jewish homeland" 🎗️

Celebrating Purim far away from my wife and one month old. Yet I couldn’t be prouder to serve my country during such a historic moment, reliving the Purim story. Am Israel Chai 💙

Never forget what Palestinian terrorists did at the command of the Islamic Regime. This is Omer (2 years old) and his twin sisters Arbel and Shahar (5 and a half) Siman Tov. They were burned alive by Hamas on Oct 7th. Both parents, Johnny and Tamar were killed too. “They’re here, they’re burning us” - one of Johnny’s last texts to his sister Ranae. Their grandmother, Carol Siman Tov was also executed in her own home that day too. Just in case you forgot why Israel is fighting this war.

In 1940, after German forces invaded the Netherlands, Corrie ten Boom and her family made a decision that would cost them everything. From their small watch shop in Haarlem, they quietly built a hidden room behind a false wall and began sheltering Jewish neighbors who had nowhere else to go. For years, the ten Boom home became a lifeline. People arrived at all hours, frightened and desperate, with nowhere else to turn. Corrie and her family fed them, hid them, and helped move them to safer locations. It is estimated that more than 800 people were protected through their efforts. They were not soldiers or politicians, just ordinary citizens who chose courage over comfort. In 1944, an informant betrayed them. The family was arrested and sent to prison and later to concentration camps. Corrie’s father died shortly after his arrest. Her sister Betsie died in captivity. Corrie survived, and later told the world what happened, not only to document the horror, but to speak about forgiveness in the face of unimaginable loss. Her watch shop once measured minutes and hours. Instead, it became a place that bought people time to live. Bless this woman.

You know who could have treated and saved many more sick children in Gaza? Dr. Eitan Ne’eman, a pediatric emergency physician and the head of the pediatric ICU at the Soroka hospital in Be'er Sheva. Dr. Ne’eman trained as a physician in Israel and went on to pursue advanced medical training at Yale–New Haven Hospital, where he was a proud member of our New Haven Jewish community. In addition to heading the pediatric ICU also he volunteered with Magen David Adom and dedicated himself to saving lives. On October 7th he rushed to the Soroka hospital and helped save many lives of those injured in the initial attack of Hamas. The next day he joined his reserve unit scanning the region for more Hamas terrorists from Gaza and was murdered by a Hamas terrorist on October 9th. Dr. Ne’eman was a man who dedicated his life to healing and saving lives, while the terrorists who murdered him dedicated themselves to destroying lives, including the lives of countless children in Gaza who will no longer be able to come to Israeli hospitals to be treated after the betrayal Gaza carried out on October 7th.

The land of Israel is such an important aspect of Judaism, if not the centrepiece (& Torah). So tell me why are there children beating up others in school? Why are farmers trying to force high costs of living? Why did some try to import non-Jews with fake conversions in?! /1
