Without getting political the deficit is $1.9 Trillion but the U.S. Govt is going to take over a golf course from a group that was funding a restoration with private money with an architect taking a pay cut to restore it. This is the exact opposite of what conservative government is supposed to be. This is MAGA Meddling. There is zero public good- this is a big government move. I 100% oppose this decision.

Just got a quote for a new garage at our lake house. $70,000. Includes: Foundation. 24x30 garage. Loft area upstairs with full plumbing. Earth leveling. Running utilities, like power, water, and sewer. This is good, terrible, or about right?

Someone fix my swing! Swing tips needed! Headed to a big member event next week. Cannot find a fairway. I’ll take any and all swing analysis. Will work on it on my Trackman. Winning tip gets a prize. Hit 1/14 fairways yesterday. Not miles off, but not good.

Work trip this week, but I added an extra day and will be playing some golf with a great friend. So of course, I had to clean up my clubs...can't let the TSA see any dirt on my clubs! Anybody else find a need to make sure their clubs are spotless before they go on a plane?

@MidwestGolfJake @Top100Rick 1000% agree, I went to Kohler. Got to see a ball land, somone walk up, hit it and we tried to see it land on the green. Best sporting event, tough one, US Open tennis or Yankees Red Sox in NYC.

@Top100Rick Said it before and I'll say it again. They Ryder Cup is literally the worst fan experience of any event I've been to. Too many people watching, not enough people playing. I wouldn't go again if the tickets were free.

Has the Ryder Cup been ruined by greed? Fans will need to pony up around $590 USD to attend in Ireland. For one single day. It was $750 in the USA. Basically normal working people are getting priced out of all big sport events. The World Cup is running $1k a ticket or way more. So maybe this isn’t bad, it’s just the new reality. Everyone wants experiences, but that means demand outstrips supply and everything gets expensive. Supply and demand always wins in the end.

Got a big golf trip coming up. Walking 7 rounds and I need a good recommendation on shoes. I’ve really only ever worn FJ premiere series. What else should I look into?

@MidwestGolfJake 1000%. It was the first sign of hope for cold Midwest winters and to be able to sit down at the end of the day and watch live golf. First golf in HI then pitchers and catchers reporting… we made it.

So the PGA Tour is leaving Hawaii... This is truly a bummer. The two Hawaii events were guaranteed viewing for so many of us locked in the deep freeze of winter. Add in Primetime viewing and Mark Rolfing...it was perfect. This is why we can't have nice things...

@ItsShowtime223 Sand valley is great. A few courses around there to take advantage of as well. Erin Hills. You don’t have to leave the property food is great and cheap and the golf is great

@flexgolden11 @ItsShowtime223 Naples… I love old corkscrew outside of that practically nothing other than salt leaf. You won’t get the golf destination vibe. You’ll get the gated community and traffic vibe.
