@ballvings @beercruncher Yes! Craft beer has priced itself out of reach. Why buy a 4 pack of craft lager at 2 to 3 times price of a German (or other Euro) version?

@beercruncher there's a few I know of but we need more $10 4 packs. The price creep on 4 packs is insane. it used to be that $12 was the standard, but now it's not uncommon to see $20... I don't need more IIIPAs. Give me some drinkable, $10 4 pack beers in the 4.5-5.5% range.

Wife and kids have headed off on vacation, I’ve been in to work to check fermentations so figured a late lunch at @guilfordbrewery would be appropriate. Kölsch is hitting the spot.

@JoelBrewed For all of cruise issues, multi-generational family vacations they are by far the best on them. Elementary school have kids clubs, teens can roam, grandparents are comfortable going to shows or casino and parents can try to avoid everyone. Meetup for dinner to feel connected.

@sliprose No. I'm using my process. IBU's are bullshit but my hazys are over 130+ theoretical. Water chemistry & process matter way more.

Was curious about AI. I asked ChatGPT to design a hazy IPA recipe. I'm going to scale it and brew a 15 bbl batch as a gimmick. Ignore all the grain & hop dust on my work laptop screen. Process is more important than recipe.

@ABWGraham I make a version at home based on Lagunitas’. Took some research to find that the natural flavors labeled can be stevia. That, cryo hops to reduce veggie matter, citric acid nailed it

We've been working on this for over 2 years and are really happy with where we ended up (it's a lot more involved than steeping hops in water).
