I just read that the Phillies just signed a shortstop out of Venezuela. Seemed reasonable until I read a little further and saw that it’s an 11-year-old kid! And no, you did not read that wrong. 11 years old! What are we even doing anymore??!!

Played 3 times in a row in Arizona. Day one shot 91, had driver yips & putting issues. Day 2 played with a guy who went thru driver yips & played at a high level. He watched me through 3 holes flinch it right off the tee. I told him what I was going through. He said “ok next hole you’re going to tee it up on far left side of tee, aim down the right side and hit the biggest hook you can hit.” He said just send it as hard as you can. Well I’ll be damned- I did that and wham I pasted one right down the middle. Felt so good. What happens with driver yips is u get so tight u don’t release anything- not your body, arms, hands, nothing. It all totally locks up and from there it’s just miserable. Rest of the day I tried to hit big hooks with every shot and most started on line and stayed straight. I hit a few offline but playable. It’s amazing how little things creep in and before u know it you can’t hit it worth a crap and it’s a death march playing. I’ll keep swinging at it and keep knocking the rust off the game as the season gets going. Also big thanks to @TrackmanMaestro for curing my chipping yips. Handle high, ball back, and finish high was/is a game changer. I’ve battled chip yips for some time. Didn’t yip one today when i total exaggerated my setup. Golf is fun again 😊

When it is a made foul shot, the clock doesn’t start until someone touches it after it is thrown inbounds… the clock doesn’t just start after a foul shot is made… The Manasquan player caught the ball and the clock started close to 1/2 court …

So now we have confirmation of the assistant director of the @NJSIAA, the AD of Camden HS, AND the assistant coach influencing the referees (god I would LOVE to know what was said). Especially by someone who works for the STATE. Survive and advance huh…..
