I personally would be slamming Reese at those odds if it were legal in Connecticut.

David Bailey is the new betting favorite to be the No. 2 overall pick for the New York Jets: David Bailey (-140) Arvell Reese (+100)

@NYJetsHMA @RichCimini @JakeAsman @BrandonTierney Dear Lord. I cannot imagine 3 bigger and more negative losers who pretend to (at best) know football and (at worst) act like Jets fans or do anything but embarrass Jets fans with what they do.

@NYJetsTFMedia How many more mock drafts do you want to get more “X”responses and clicks?? Post something of meaningful content!

Just 2 weeks from the NFL Draft ✈
What is YOUR ideal draft for the #Jets with their first 4 picks (2, 16, 33, 44)❓
English

"What the Jets CAN'T do at #2 is have another bust or somebody they can't figure out. They already had two of those with Zach Wilson and Mekhi Becton."
@colincowherd thinks it's clear who the Jets should draft at #2 overall
English

@PaulFiore I agree and will be fine with either one they like. I’m not on the Simpson bandwagon at 16. I don’t think they’re either but we’ll see. Great exchange of viewpoints!
English

@sloop2jojo I have little personal preference. Probably the 1st time in many years. Would like to see them have a solid process and pick thr guy they believe will be the best NFL player long term. More interested to see what they do at 16
English

I still think smoke screen season in full effect BUT if the #Jets draft Bailey on the premise that, he is a higher floor player and out of fear because AG can't risk a project in Reese due to job security, that would be a flawed process. You draft the best player. Period. IMO
Paul Andrew Esden Jr@BoyGreen25
The David Bailey buzz connecting him to the #Jets with the No. 2 overall pick is palpable. #NFL Insider @AlbertBreer told @McShay13, ‘yeah I actually talked to a couple of teams that almost talked like it was a fait accompli.’ @PSchrags & @MoveTheSticks have expressed similar sentiments this week. 🎥 The McShay Show #JetUp #NFLDraft FULL SHOW: open.spotify.com/episode/2D4cmI…

Thank you! I live my life that way too.. I appreciate your responses because they are not personal attack or argumentative. I personally think they’ll take Reese based on the change to 3-4 defense, schemes and versatility. I’m fine with either one! You won’t see me bashing their choice. Looking forward to draft night!
English

@sloop2jojo You are also one of the most optimistic fans I engage with so, it appreciate your view but I remain grounded in skepticism until proven otherwise.

Pros and cons of the #Jets-Giants potential blockbuster trade 👀 jetsxfactor.com/2026/04/07/jet…
English

@NYJetsTFMedia @MoveTheSticks @PSchrags @JohnnyVenerable I’ll be glad when the draft is over. Then no more bs rumors just all the bs opinions.
English

Both @MoveTheSticks & @PSchrags said they are hearing that the #Jets prefer David Bailey over Arvell Reese 👀
Thoughts❓

@AdamSchefter Everything they said Shedeur should have done, he’s not doing as well. Hypocrisy and Racism at its finest

@NFLFrascella I guess real, analytics using 2025 performance (PFF grades, sacks, win rates, and impact vs double teams) doesn’t mean anything because Leonard Williams is certainly not #1

The #Jets will "entertain" Carnell Tate at No. 2 👇 jetsxfactor.com/2026/04/06/jet…

@ProFootballTalk Thats old and worn out. Can’t you ever come up with anything new on your own??

With the Buffalo Sabres making it to the NHL playoffs, the Jets have the longest current postseason drought in North American pro sports: 15 seasons. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

In 14 seasons, Kirk Cousins has three playoff appearances and one postseason win. He's also one of the two top or three earners of all time, with his latest deal putting him north of $330 million. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…
English

@rumblestick @ProFootballTalk Lol! He was with the Vikings in his prime and before they got him in free agency they were a high favorite of being in the Superbowl. He’s overrated and definitely overpaid
English

@ProFootballTalk Honestly some of the teams that he been were terrible that's not his fault.
English

The Raiders are indeed planning on Kirk Cousins to start early on as QB1 while they intentionally develop Fernando Mendoza, per @AdamSchefter.
Cousins specifically chose Las Vegas for a reunion with Klint Kubiak, plus the opportunity to properly mentor Mendoza.
