@ShirleyTable @slop @DeborahMeaden Ok, I would still be interested to see what tables/41 clubare on friendly terms with the MP considering it’s non political and how that helps them. Our local table has given a donation toa local church for a sensory garden but that was for all the community not just that church.

@LeeCanniff @ShirleyTable @DeborahMeaden I said friendly terms, not close relationship. In the same we we are not religious but work with all faith communities for the benefit of our communities.

@slop @ShirleyTable @DeborahMeaden Sorry, but this is unusual behaviour for a club that promotes itself as a “non religious & non political organisation” - I would be very interested to see how many have a close relationship with their local MP.

@ifyoudontmind @DeborahMeaden It's certainly not a white club, and it's also not just straight. Within the confines of age and sex it's extremely diverse.

@DeborahMeaden For all of those criticising this photo may I kindly ask you to reflect upon the fact this is a group of civic volunteers and fundraisers (>£5m per yr) for good causes, not a political group. As you reflect on this ask yourself what have you actually done for your community?

@Peckhampulse @NeiAleSki @DeborahMeaden @RoundTableBI Round Table is non sectarian and non party political. The membership is made up of all political persuasions. They don't endorse any party. But they are all about community and that will at times include engaging with politicians whether they like the flavour or not.

@dickieholland @jamesearpmusic @DeborahMeaden 41 club is the alumni club for past members of Round Table. It has a sister club for ladies. Round Table is a club for young men 18-45 to find friendship and provide a vehicle for civic service in the community.

@jamesearpmusic @DeborahMeaden Round Table welcomes young men aged 18-45 regardless of their ethnic background or sexuality or even political persuasion. The single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK is suicide. Sometimes it's nice to be able to hang out with like-minded people.

Yes. I'm afraid that the case for leaving TPT behind is compelling.

If you haven't noticed the parallels between #AntiMisogyny & #AntiRacism or #NotAllMen & #NotAllWhites, let me be clear. Incivility, of any sort, towards any group, is intolerable. Decide what you stand for, and then stand for it. Hold yourself to account, or nothing will change.
