Did you know if Ohio’s legislature passes the voter ID resolution HJR 9/SJR 10 as written for November‘s ballot, future legislators will NOT be able to pass laws to close Ohio’s current photo ID loop for mail and absentee ballots. Why would Republican officials do that to us?

People are not getting this. In January, most of the country gets roughly 9–10 hours of daylight no matter what we call the clock. My neighbor bought his house in 1987 for $74,000. He refinanced once. He paid it off. His property taxes are $1,800/year because of how long he's owned it. The exact same house next door just sold for $710,000. The 28-year-old who bought it pays $9,200/year in taxes. And $4,100/month on the mortgage. Same street. Same house. Completely different life. We didn't just price people out of homes. We priced them out of futures.

Wait until I add up my cost of fuel for the week tomorrow. It will easily surpass $2000 Under Trumps first term it would have been less than $800. Under Biden it would have been $2500. It's only going to get worse. Rates go up but that's passed on to consumers. The inflation will spike again. We're already struggling to buy groceries. This isn't good folks. No ending in sight.
