Love being a spring sports coach. Softball and baseball are the only coaches that give up their days off to take care of their facilities. Oh and we do it for free. Not to mention get our chops busted for trying to bring in money for our programs that lack the support!!

The coach at Texas Tech said it clearly: Softball was NOT meant to be played 52 weeks a year. Not 12 months. Not every weekend. Not without pause. Somewhere the message became: More tournaments = more exposure More exposure = more offers No breaks = more success That’s not how development works.

The Yankees announced that they are retiring @CC_Sabathia's No. 52 and are honoring him with a plaque in Monument Park on September 26th 👏
