@ByJimbob Imagine Jack Black’s voice being the last vibration into your eardrum.

@miszaszym1 Dragging through the sand really seals the deal on the apathy and disgust. I love it.

I’m 34 with 2 kids. Had to white knuckle it until things started feeling in place.
At 27:
-Married
-First Home purchased
-Wifey 8 months pregnant
I couldn’t have imagined being 18 to 21 during the lockdowns. A lot of opportunities stolen and diminished. Your generation has a lot of grit and creative ways to overcome unfair outcomes. I respect the grind!

One of my favorite techniques of Eminem's is something that's not talked about enough or at all.. He leaves a verse unfinished and goes into the hook! I will give you a few of mine and maybe you can give me yours?
"I'd shoot for the moon but I'm too busy gazing at stars/I feel amazing and I'm/not afraid..
"Here we go again we're out of our medicine, out of our mind and we want in yours let us in or imma KILL YOU."

Tim Allen on reading the Bible straight through (Old Testament done, 4 pages into New as of this clip):
"The Bible is not what I thought it was. It's very little preachy stuff... mostly stories."
He approached it like a scientist: "E-X-E—let the words come to you. Do not look for meaning. It will come to you." Life-changing.
The Book of Job hit hardest—a raw story of a man questioning the divine, getting humbled by reminders of creation's vast mysteries: waves at the shore, birds' timing, frozen poles, stars' paths. "You weren't here when I started it... and your first question is 'Why are you so mean to me?'"
Celebrity taking Scripture page-by-page, no skimming—humbled, amazed.
What's a book/story (Bible or otherwise) that surprised you when you read it openly, without preconceptions? Or which part of Job resonates most with you? Share below.

This saved me. My iPhone is my backup. The trumpets are my 1st alarm and rooster is the second. The loudest alarm I could find 🚨

Apple must seriously address this issue.
This has happened to me and many others. It’s EXTREMELY annoying 😭

How do I explain to my manager that I woke up 45 minutes late with all my alarms going off SILENTLY

@Timcast If I only went onto the NPC news websites and read the first few headlines.. I wouldn't even know it existed. Convenient how that works.

Dr. John Delony dropped the best parenting line I've heard in forever, and it came from Jack Black of all people:
"Don't try to make a happy kid happier."
Kid's already content in the backyard playing with a stick in the mud? Don't drag them to the $300 amusement park. Just grab a hose, jump in, get dirty together. That's the story they'll tell at your funeral, not the overpriced outing that left everyone fried and sugared up.
Then he hits the deeper truth: When kids arrive, your marriage isn't "over" in a bad way—it's just a different kind of awesome. You trade spontaneous afternoons for new magic: watching your middle-schooler cross the finish line, feeling huge.
Trying to drag the old freedom back in? That's what breaks people. Let the old thing go. Build something new.
This one hit me hard. Anyone else feel that shift when kids changed everything—for the better, even if it's messy?
