@actionfang This is really hard to process. Kobe defined the sport for me growing up and I gained a true reverence for him and his mind over the past decade. Like you say, I didn't think someone as deified as he could just be gone in the middle of his life, with a lot left to do. Damn.

@benitezent @DevInTheLab @lifebythemm How are you failing to see his foot already on the ground by the time he picks up his dribble? Yikes

These are all bad drugs. Really bad. Not to downplay the significance of any. But is the NBA’s policy really a 2 year expulsion even for a 1st time offense of any of these? If say it was cocaine...Does a 2-yr suspension seem a bit disproportionate to anybody else?

Tyreke Evans tested positive for "drugs of abuse." According to ESPN (when Chris Andersen was dismissed for this), "The drugs on that list are amphetamine and its analogs, which include methamphetamine; cocaine; LSD; opiates, including heroin, codeine and morphine; and PCP."

@LakerFilmRoom 2nd and 3rd quarters a little less unwatchable eh? maybe they stopped giving up after the 1st 🤔

@LakerFilmRoom Such a pity for not only the Lakers season, but for Lonzo himself. Just a bit over a season's worth of games in two years with nonstop tumult for much of it. With better luck, I've little doubt he'd be seriously turning some heads right now. Anyhow, thanks for the responses Pete!

@sdhatt3 It's crazy that they haven't played together since Christmas. The biggest reason why Lonzo's been missed so much is that no one's been able to step into that energy/momentum swing role. It's a very nice complement to LeBron's style.
English

@LakerFilmRoom That being said, LeBron inspires in his own way. Creates huge energy/momentum swings with sheer force and lifts his team by sharing the ball constantly. With more pure shooting and less...Rondo?...I think this team gets into the playoffs even despite the groin and Zo's ankle.
English

@LakerFilmRoom Lonzo's pure effort is sorely missed. Many things would've been different were he not injured. As much as I love him, LeBron was never truly a "dive on the floor for a loose ball" type of leader, he's too calculated. Kobe was that, however, so I can understand some of the angst.
English

@LakerFilmRoom They did. It's a tangent to your tweet but I feel the digital age is fundamentally changing how we perceive, discuss and will remember contemporary players. "Wow, Westbrook played so hard, unbelievable" to "Westbrook was exciting but check this vid of him allowing backdoor cuts"
English

@sdhatt3 Of course they took plays off, blew assignments, etc. It's not a binary. But in total, they had a competitive spirit that few players have rivaled.
English

@LakerFilmRoom @ScottWais he gets beat on these at least 10 times per season, not boxing out is one of his most glaring weaknesses
English

@ScottWais I expect him to not get beat for a free throw rebound.

@MZavagno11 member when you questioned his court vision pre-draft? i member
