Consider the optics: Angiogram and discovery of 2 blocks on day 1, Varalakshmi festival (Tamil-equivalent of Karwa Chauth!) at home on day 2, and Angioplasty on day 3! tinyurl.com/2stents

I CANT KEEP CALM BECAUSE I FINISHED #75Hard today or my version of it anyways. 75 days of a workout every single day. 3 periods, one almost flu with bad cold and cough and million other things life threw at me during this period. 75 days of no sugar, no alcohol. 75 days of SO MUCH WATER 🤣🤣 75 days of IF & eating protein and veggies and fiber. Ufff, really cannot believe it myself. PS : a lot of you have constantly asked me “what is the progress you have seen? What next” Will talk about that soon because today is just about enjoying the feeling of finishing what I started with a lot of apprehensions and almost sure I will fail. But I did not and that feeling is amazing. And @rohaldea just hugs and 😘😘 You know why ❤️❤️

@earthkitchen All of Bangalore is fragrant too...and I have a huuuuge tree just outside my house. Heavenly! The tiny flowers getting into the car vents is a minor irritation for the free room freshener we get 😁

Here's day 11 of the low-satiety challenge. It got pretty brutal.🫣 Breakfast Breakfast was my regular white toast and jam sandwices (five of them), and coffee. Total SPC 23, with 979 calories and just 23 grams of protein (not recommended for satiety!). Lunch For a relatively small lunch (wasn't hungry), I had leftover homemade Pinza pizza from yesterday evening. Total SPC 34, with 525 calories and 26 grams of protein. Dinner Dinner was brutal and where things got out of control. I had a burger (SPC around 40) with a ton of extra French fries (SPC 13), dip sauce (SPC 12) and ketchup (SPC 9), as well as breaded onion rings (SPC 14). Total SPC 22 with 1,879 calories (!!!) and 53 grams of protein. I felt very full after this, but mindlessly eating a ton of French fries is super simple, almost automatic, especially with dip sauce and ketchup. If I had had even more French fries, I would still probably have eaten even more. The same thing with breaded onion rings: super easy to eat a lot of. Snacks As if the dinner wasn't bad enough I also had a bunch of snacks during the day. My daughter baked chocolate cookies (SPC 1). I would usually have one, because it's just such a sweet thing. However, during this challenge I have as many as I want to eat, so I had three. On top of that I ended the evening with four squares of 70% chocolate (SPC 4) and a small bowl of Ben & Jerry's chocolate fudge browie ice cream (SPC 12). In total, snacks ended up at SPC 5 (!), with 1,338 calories and 19 grams of protein. Total for the day Wrapping the whole day up, it ended at SPC 19, with 4,721 calories and just 120 grams of protein. It's interesting that I end up eating almost twice as many calories as normal during this challenge, but still only half as many grams of protein! So how am I feeling? I'm kind of getting used to this now I think, I feel less bad than a few days ago. Still a bit bloated, occasionally some acid reflux (but less than before), and perhaps a bit more aches and pains (but less apparent than before). Motivation and energy are definitely a bit lower than usual, though. I'm definitely looking forward to the end of this and a return to sanity. Three more days to go!

@ISOPURECOMPANY Why is there a difference in ingredients in the India version and US version of your whey protein? The India version has Sunflower oil (shudder!) whereas it's completely absent in the US version. The taste is vastly different too. The India version tastes bad!

I drank tea this morning in front of the mirror. Nope, not a Good Day (on my forehead) 😏 Britannia Good Day's latest gimmick is an ambitious idea, no doubt. Many other biscuit brands have tried, for years, to associate themselves with 'chai' (as THE chai biskoot). Most people think of Parle G or Britannia Milk Bikis when they think of 'tea and biscuit', particularly the type that you dip into the tea and eat (and drop some soggy bits into the tea, of course, that you fish out later). Britannia Marie too has worked hard in building the 'chai' association, though not as a 'dip', but as a 'with'. Good Day pitches itself as the 'chai biskoot', thanks to the agency Talented's new gimmick. It's a gimmick, at best, since the idea seems terribly forced. Unless you make an active effort to raise your eyebrows (which would then become a McDonald's ad!) while drinking tea, you won't see a Good Day biscuit in your forehead. What's particularly jarring is the relentless "introduction" to the gimmick (particularly on LinkedIn) as if everyone missed something so obvious ("You cannot unsee it"). We cannot even see it (unless it is 'performed' consciously) in the first place, so forget unseeing it. That's where the McDonald's 'Raised Arches' ad (agency: Leo Burnett UK) worked so well, in comparison. See: tinyurl.com/browarches It did not claim that there's a natural 'arch' in our eyebrows that resembles McD's (Golden) Arches. Instead, the campaign framed it as a conscious choice done by people (fans) to refer to the brand. So, it became a 'thing' that people *could* do, to refer to McD. But Talented frames the 'Good Day in the forehead' as a naturally occurring 'thing' (it doesn't, unless you consciously frown or raise your eyebrows while drinking tea) and not as something that people 'could' do. That's where I feel the idea falls apart. #advertising #marketing #creativity
