It's time to repeat the EME experiment using 16 antennas (4x4) vs previous (2x2). The linear arrays might be interesting for scanning the skies.

Pick and place machines eliminate some but not all labor. A good bit remains in setup. First step is parts check-in and leader splicing

@lukebayes İt was 10 pieces but I have a range of errors. It was an assembly house in TR I'll share it in a tweet. Here is one of them. Lots of shorts everwhere.

Recently I had a really bad experience with an assembly house. Look at that alignment...

@sad_electronics @SmallBatchA @ElectronicsLcsc I usually just import the step file for the connector into onshape then draw the wires as splines and call out the wire specifications with the pinout in a table. For the pin 1 marking it's sometimes arbitrary but I'll mark them all

First experience with @ElectronicsLcsc custom cable fabrication was good. JST PH 2mm 6 pos tails. 125 pcs $0.64 each delivered.

@sad_electronics @ElectronicsLcsc What I sent them was far from a best-practice engineering drawing. There was a good bit of back and forth over email. They then responded with a proper drawing they could understand.
