Your excuse about it being a medical doctor is unacceptable.
Jesus Christ is always depicted in Sacred Heart iconography wearing a white robe with a red sash.
No doctor in history has laid hands on a patient with light radiating from his palms dressed exactly like Jesus.
There is no stethoscope. No gloves. No lab coat. The nurse next to the patient is dressed like a medical professional.
This is BLASPHEMY.
Protestants have spent the last 500 years screaming about graven images. Now they have one. And instead of condemning it, they are sharing it.
@JDVance is Catholic. @SecRubio is Catholic. Stand up and Demand that Trump retract and apologize.
A public graven image requires public repentance. Not a cleanup line about playing doctor.

The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don’t contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the Pope’s prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life. In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree. I would warmly recommend that serious Catholics within the Trump administration–Secretary Rubio, Vice President Vance, Ambassador Brian Burch, and others–might meet with Vatican officials so that a real dialogue can take place. This is far preferable to the statements on social media.
I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No President in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.

President Trump attacking the Catholic Church is completely unwarranted and extremely distasteful.
He should be well aware that Catholics account for at least half of the MAGA base. Catholics, like myself, got him elected and many staff his administration.
Messaging like this is only going to hurt GOP turnout in the midterms.

This afternoon, the day before the annual town election, the Somerset MA, Town Clerk is seen on camera taking ballots out of the locked drop-off box alone.
The town clerk is up for re-election this year and is on the ballot.
Somerset Massachusetts is the same town that two years ago went viral for the assistant town clerk passing ballots off to a poll worker in their car alone.
How is ballot integrity guaranteed in this situation?

I didn't think it could get worse, I was wrong. Watching that illegal animal from Haiti beat a woman to death with a hammer has radicalized me more than I thought possible. Our politicians bear the blame for this. It was an intentional policy choice. The Biden admin opened our border to the criminal filth from the third world knowing that would kill Americans like me and you. The blood is on their hands. Prosecute anyone inside the Biden admin who allowed for this to take place 13,000 Americans are DEAD because of them. These government officials must be punished. Lock them up.

I lived and worked in Orange County (not currently). I have discussed religion with many people, and none have said anything suggesting they personally wanted to turn the country into a caliphate.
That said, the fact that monsters exist in another country is a valid reason not to import them into ours, but it's not a reason to start bombing that country.
