@SLORocker There’s only 3 options for this post. A) You’re actually retarded, and if that’s the case I’m sorry. B) Some kind of willful liberal blindness that doesn’t allow you to understand information C) You’re just trolling and very angry the pipeline is active. I’m guessing it’s A/C.

@IvanR108 No it doesn’t. Fed says they can pump oil. States says no. That is a federal case. Happening in June. Geck is irrelevant. SOC legal counsel made that point today. They are not stopping for her. She knows it which is why she hasn’t put them in contempt yet.

@smalltreelittle Yes I understand that, but not following justice still matters. I guess we hope again that federal judges will do follow it.

If judges keep disregarding facts and rule the way they want, how are we going to prevail at the end? Where is the justice they need to stand up for $SOC

The year is 2028. NASDAQ is celebrating 500 consecutive up days as Trump continually tweets about how great the deal with Iran will be, despite no additional talks having taken place in 2 years… Brent oil still trades at $100, though physical cargoes trade hands at $500 a barrel. Everyone thinks this is totally normal… Datacenters now consume $5 trillion of capital annually, despite producing only $50 billion of annual revenues. No one is quite sure how to monetize them, but they build them in the hope that someone else will crack the code… $MSTR ran out of letters in the alphabet for new preferred securities. The Ponzi is still failing… Private Credit vehicles have been gated for 3 years now. They trade on the secondary market at 10c of face. Marketing documents focus on the low realized volatility of PIK return streams… Europe is rolling out its 27th round of climate taxes as it desperately tries to stave off economic collapse…🤣

@ProspectsUsmnt You guys are all talking about physical traits. I just watched the GA cup and the foreign clubs were not particularly better “physically “. They were better at playing though…..

I think my biggest issue is that it seems like there’s no real plan to it. I’m not against just calling up the best prospects (that’s my philosophy), but ultimately the reality is most limited athletes don’t pan out. When you have a roster with 8 of them, what’s the plan there?
ChuckMe92 Soccer@ChuckMe92Soccer

This fits with what has been described about 🇺🇲YNTs under Crocker Often calling up replacement-level prospects who are limited physically/athletically and have decent, not top technical ability. A relative de-emphasis on raw upside -- and on recruiting dual-nats raised abroad

@SLORocker @Anthony65092926 Our armchair warrior analyst here doesn’t realize oil stocks are long life assets and price off the strip, not just spot oil. Dec 27 futures are up like $7 since war started. So not much……yet

@marleyliv @ManagerTactical NYCFC u15 vs Charlotte today really played (and lost in a mistake in the back). Colorado u16 were balling. The real issue I have is most of the academies don’t use the 6,8 at all. They play wide or vertical. 6 at FC Cincinnati will get 1/3rd the touches a Boca Juniors

@smalltreelittle @ManagerTactical I don’t disagree. I just think that when one academy team attempts to play this beautiful game the right way and most of the time gets results against similar international competition that it’s something to be celebrated. Red Bulls Bragantino and Copenhagen are excellent as well

@marleyliv @ManagerTactical I did. Twice. Brazilian teams and Japanese teams much better ballers. Half the size. Though I did really like the Asian kid who played for RB in the middle. He was excellent.

@ManagerTactical I’m not sure there is one player on the U16 sounders team that could play for Boca Juniors yet they beat them in the tournament. All the academies are the same player profiles. Big, physical, fast, not great at playing. Not all players but the bulk.

@ManagerTactical I just spent a week watching all the GA cup games. It’s the MLs academies. They play to win. Can’t play through middle. Lack ability to combine. Not all but most. All the foreign clubs played and because of that they made a few mistakes and lost. But their players learned.

$SOC bulls/longs beware: when the #EpsteinWar ends & oil plummets, so will its stock price despite imminent oil sales. Everything seems priced in with resistance firmly at $18 per share.

@ProspectsUsmnt Austin played great style but they just didn’t have anything upfront. Created zero chances in the game I saw. Not close to the worst U15 team this year though.

I’ll give FC Dallas and SJE a pass as I believe both easily qualify in U-15 if they didn’t have a bunch of talents playing up. The other academies, there’s lessons to take from this. STLC barely miss qualification by GD in the U-16. That’s a good team. There’s no way you’re convincing me they’re not one of the 5-8 best teams at that U-16 tournament, regardless of the results, but low key that academy needs to do way better than they have. They’re slipping. Their ‘08 and ‘09 age groups are really poor (not at this tournament, but definitely relevant), and I’ll use this time to make the point. SKC also just barely miss U-16 qualification on GD from the Group of Death. That’s really a shame that four of the ten or so best teams in that U-16 tournament are in the same group and only one advances because they all wipe eachother out with the most competitive group and a second place team that doesn’t have a high enough point total. So I’m sympathetic to that, but their U-15’s are not good and they’re simply going to reside as a lower third academy if that remains a regularity. A few too many age groups like that. Miami, major issues are well documented. Their slippage has really come about fast. As soon as Messi joined, they stopped caring about the academy. He put his friend in charge of the academy because his son plays for the U-12’s or something like that. It’s unserious. They have essentially nothing in those U-15 and U-16 age groups other than Carson Starrett (‘11). If they can’t put players around him too that can provide him with chances, why should he stay? Austin, Minnesota, Portland, well you know these are the three worst academies in the country. Austin is arguably still the worst, but I think they’re showing better momentum than the other two. As I was just telling someone the other day, a few good recruits can’t undo the rest overnight.
American Ultras Talk@usmntaut

Of the 29 MLS academies participating in GA Cup (no San Diego yet), 21 of them qualified for the knockouts in at least one age group. Here are the ones that didn’t: Inter Miami San Jose Earthquakes FC Dallas Austin FC Minnesota United St. Louis City Portland Timbers Sporting KC

Over the last 2 years of GA Cup, 27/29 MLS academies (no San Diego yet) have qualified for the knockout stages at least once in any age group. The only 2 that haven’t? Minnesota United and Sporting KC.
