They’re taking away healthcare. AI is stealing jobs. Corporations are allowed to poison food and water again. They’re slashing education. They’re starting endless wars in multiple countries. He’s using our money to build a ballroom. He’s manipulating the market. They’re dividing the country even more with a gerrymandering war. He is taking bribes in broad daylight. And they still haven’t released the full Epstein files. This is objectively the worst and most corrupt administration in history.
GOP Ls@GOP__Ls

🚨 Trump's healthcare cuts are now expected to strip health insurance from over 17 million people. This would mark the largest healthcare access decline in American history.

90% of the vibecession can be explained by the fact that a lot of post-2020 wage growth (just like during the post-2010 white collar boom) was promptly devoured by landlords and the spike in mortgage costs.
Here's What I Reckon:@angryaboutbikes

My wife spent an entire year taking on extra work and smashing all her targets so that she could ask for a pay rise, they actually gave her one and then literally 2 days later our landlord put up our rent by more than the raise because he decided it was time to be paid more money

MAGA BOOMERS: 2024: Biden is killing our economy with inflation and letting in 20 million illegals! 2026: The cost of living "crisis" is the result of Millennials eating out every day.
Modern Rome in Freefall 🇵🇸@ljmontello

I don't think Boomers realize that the problem with their attempts to rewrite the 80s & 90s into a poverty struggle session is that wasn't, their elder Millennial children were there & can call out their revisionist BS nonsense.

We are in a depression right now. The only reason it's not called that is because the wealthy have never been richer. They are doing fantastic. But for the working class it is exactly what a depression feels like. The definition of a depression did not change. The people writing the definition did.

Boomers: "Just work harder!" Me: gets yeeted home for having too much overtime, proceeds to work on side gig work. Still broke. Boomers: "Just spend less on useless shit!" Me: orders in bulk, saves for even cheap pleasures, thinks even underwear are too expensive. Still broke. Just say America is a broke, third world country, and you failed your offspring. Because that is what demanding they should have 3 jobs, and eat dumpster food, is basically admitting. USA Trump MAGA better than Europe or something. Lol.

Gen Z isn’t “out partying all weekend”, you retarded old fuck. I’m Gen Z, married with 2 kids, trying to raise children in the most fucked up economy imaginable. Most of my friends are also settled down, and if they aren’t, they’re not out at the bars on the weekend - they’re working extra jobs to be able to survive. They can’t afford a fucking $7 draft beer at the local bar. Not a single one of us expected our “starter homes” to be 4BR, you delusional piece of shit. We expected to enter, at the very least, the same housing market that our parents had. The one that they explicitly told us about - the one where, if we went to college, got a job, and worked hard, we would be able to afford to buy a house of our own where we could build a life. Instead, we were priced out of the housing market entirely, while all of our jobs were shipped overseas or given to foreigners, and we’re just expected to figure it out, pay $5 for a gallon of gas and $7 for a lb of ground beef, and shut the fuck up about it. On top of that, now we have people like you insulting us for wanting the same life we WITNESSED our parents have while working just as hard, if not harder. And to make matters worse, you guys are just explicitly lying about your experiences and what you THINK our lives are like to try and sound tough online. It’s not going to kill you to admit that the fucking economy is killing young people in this country right now.

This misses the damn point. By 30, 48% of Boomers owned a home. 42% of Gen X owed a home by 30. And only 33% of millennials owned a home by 30. And Gen Z is on pace to be around 25%. The American Dream of homeownership is collapsing. Why is it so hard for people to admit that attaining life necessities are exponentially harder today than when they were 30yrs ago? And the most frustrating part is they know it is, they just won’t admit it. Bc it would take admitting that they had it easier, and that their voting habits have led to their grandchildren being dramatically worse off than they were.

@beerandtokens A lot of younger generations CAN afford a house. Maybe it's just you... census.gov/library/storie…

Boomers have been demonizing and hating on millennials, since we were in diapers. Because having children ruined their never ending party, which they now attempt to recapture on cruise ships. Yet, despite hating us since we were born, they expect us to have some respect for them

Dear Gen Z, please let me speak on behalf of all sane members of the older generations who haven't developed selective Alzheimer's about the past. Life was MUCH EASIER in the 1990s. You could walk into a pub or shop in any town and come away with a job. (1/)

I’m a younger millennial born in 91, and I recognize Zoomers obviously have it worse than I did. It’s just math. Boomer and Gen X inability to admit they had it better is wild. They’ll wax poetic about the 70s, 80s, 90s then 2 secs later pretend those glory years didn’t happen.
