@Madan_Chikna One would be, say around 2.8, less than 3, it shows 2. When you combine them together, it would become closer to 6. If you have a more sensitive scale, you'd know the difference.
@jefielding@davemcclure I'd suggest that you should look beyond this person's personality trait that you don't like. If the idea is really great that would make extraordinary impact to the world, you should invest and find a way to work with that person. You must be able to reach them as well.
@davemcclure So wearing your LP hat… fine for a manager to pass based on this criteria? I guess as long as the manger can find other fund returning deals it doesn’t matter. But if they can’t, it matters more.
I recently passed on a company because I didn't like the founder. BUT, I have strong feeling that the company will be successful. Founder was not awful, offensive or shady, just kinda arrogant and entitled, not my vibe.
But if my job is returning capital to LPs and I believe this founder can be successful and within our thesis, should I be investing anyway? I struggle with this...

@sunnewstamil@nsitharaman In this current situation, she is right. If it happens only to a particular country, it is the other way. In this case, the majority of currencies fell against the US currency. So, she is 100% right.
@TomiLahren@Twitter First of all free speech is against the government, not the individuals. One person can always sue the other person if it is defamation but the government cannot. I guess, the fundamental idea to buy Twitter itself is flawed.
@LIBORsquared@jtepper2 2/2, say for example 5% of the equity plus 10% growth. This is a straightforward math to decide on which way to go but of course, there are so many other points to consider, which are already mentioned by others.
@jtepper2 I'm not sure it's hubris, exactly, as it appears that Elon Musk doesn't believe Tesla's equity is overvalued (the preposterous new compensation package is evidence that he doesn't believe that).
@LIBORsquared@jtepper2 1/2, More than the pride, it is the cost. If the cost the debt is, say for example 10%, and if this one is far cheaper than the cost of the equity (what percentage of the company that he has to give and the equity's value increase during the debt period),
