We are saddened to share the passing of Andy’s father, Neville this morning. A respected horseman whose dedication, knowledge and passion helped shape our family and the sport. Nev lived a long, full life and his legacy will live on. We’ll miss you dearly, Nev 🕊️❤️💙🤍

If racing is looking for its easiest and simplest “sell” storyline - not just from The Cup but every day- Is it not that women compete in the sport at the same level for the same prizemoney daily, weekly, monthly, annually and exceed as such at all levels. Any other sport?

@GuerinSports @hines_john555 I was in the tower with Dan Saturday night, and had goosebumps listening to the call! If anyone nails theatre at the right time, it’s Dan!

@hines_john555 He was more referencing his famous call of 25 years ago when CUF got beat. All good theatre and I think he has handled all three of the “big shock” calls super.

Dan Milecki is a champion bloke and awesome caller but he has now commentated three of the biggest upsets in open class harness history. Latest victim: Leap To Fame just got beaten by a 10-year-old at Melton. I’m certain there is a way to make money out of this but I can’t quite work it out 🤦‍♂️

It’s been a goal of mine for a long time to win the Off The Track State Final, Precedence came close a few years ago. Roddy raced as The Arod claimed the title on his 3rd attempt being runner up last year. Tears of pride & joy. Not bad for a former jumps horse @AusJumpsRacing

@Michael_60 I do question the value of lining up at times, but trying to give myself the best odds of the rail or centre, always worth it in the end.

@smartremark24 The three nights we got there around 6...after numbers finished and we were never more than a couple off the rail albeit not centre. Tactic was to look for short people heheh

Yesterday we retired Top Payer, known to us as Theo. He was an unreal race dog and will be an even better pet. Gave us some cracking memories and thrills for a couple of small time owners ❤️
