Same as Easter Rd, not enough firepower and ultimately not enough desire. Motherwell were the best team but to capitulate to 10 men is unforgivable. Team selection and subs today were wrong. Really bad night and my belief totally punctured.

@KemiBadenoch Trans activism didn't start in Juky 2024. What were you doing about it prior to then.

It was a privilege to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Sandie Peggie yesterday. Her courage is inspiring. To Sandie, and the countless other women risking their livelihoods to push back against the NHS’s trans activism, I say thank you.

Did Michael Gove leak that Queen Elizabeth II backed Brexit? 2026 marks 10 years since the Brexit referendum. One of the key players in the Leave campaign sat down with Sky’s @BethRigby to look back and how it all unfolded Listen now 🔗 trib.al/PDFsEPu

This ludicrous Telegraph piece calls the bonus Labour’s bit.ly/4j2gEwg it was introduced in 1972 by Edward Heath (Conservative) and was worth far more than a week’s pension which was £6.75. It has never been cancelled by any govt (Conservative or Labour) or uprated.

@Roosh_84 @MartinSLewis @OctopusEnergy Just change your DD online or using the app to the amount that suits you but not so low that you get into arrears. Octopus are generally good to deal with but they are not a bank so I don't allow my account to be £100s in credit.

@MartinSLewis @OctopusEnergy Great, might offset some of the £15 a month they’ve just put my direct debit up by, despite me currently being in credit.

Delighted to read this press release from @OctopusEnergy that it will be passing on the full Budget energy cuts to all customers including those on fixes, by an (all other things remaining equal) price reduction for all on 1 April. This is exactly what I've been calling for, lobbying govt for (and Octopus boss Greg and I have chatted about) and I this first move by Octopus leads all other firms to come out and follow suit. If not there will be a huge lack of transparency (eg firms could launch a fix in jan and say we've factored in the April cuts, but there's no way to tell). Here's its release. ------------------ Octopus Energy to pass Autumn Budget savings straight to customers – automatically -All variable and fixed tariffs will be reduced from 1st April to reflect policy changes - Customers don’t have to do anything – changes will automatically be applied - Octopus urges other suppliers to follow suit to help ease rising energy costs London, 12th December 2025 – Octopus Energy today confirmed it will pass on the changes from the Autumn Budget 2025 to customers, cutting energy bills from 1st April 2026. Octopus is the first major energy supplier to guarantee these reductions will be applied automatically across all existing and new fixed and variable tariffs – customers don’t need to lift a finger. The Autumn Budget policy cuts will remove certain costs from energy bills from April 1st, reducing a typical yearly bill by around £134, relative to what they would otherwise be. Octopus is calling on other energy suppliers to do the same and ensure that customers benefit transparently. The move is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to making energy simpler, fairer, and more affordable. Greg Jackson, CEO and Founder of Octopus Energy, said: “Octopus has long called for cuts in policy costs to help bring bills down, so we are delighted to see the government taking action. “These changes will bring a welcome relief to customers, and we’ll pass them through on all of our tariffs as soon as they kick in, so no one misses out. “Octopus customers can rest easy – we’ll do it all automatically. We hope other suppliers will follow our lead so everyone can benefit.”

@RobDotHutton Badenoch is unfit for purpose. Her post budget rant in the HoC was childish drivel. Nothing of any substance whatsoever.

Triple lock on state pension rises probably has had its day. bit.ly/3WC71K9 But no one says what they’ll replace it with. Wages? Prices? Higher of those two? The 2.5% fall back was arse covering by Brown after he was roasted for raising pension with inflation by just 75p

Bought my poppy as I do every year (& always more than one as I invariably lose my paper ones!) However, horrified to discover The Royal British Legion (RBL) has a Head of Diversity & Inclusion at a wage of about £65k - that’s a lot of poppies to sell just for that non-job wage! All the money should be going to veterans not on politically correct non-jobs.

The msm pursued the Rayner story in such detail it forced a resignation . Now with a bigger scandal concerning Farage of possible treason suddenly they’ve forgotten how to spell investigate & corruption. Not only Farage has a Russian problem, if our msm protects him we all do .
