Caitlin Clark had 45 points. Caitlin Clark had 10 assists. Caitlin Clark had 6 threes. Caitlin Clark had 4 steals. Caitlin Clark had 2 blocks. This is what a generational talent looks like.

When a star player yelling at a ref becomes a big story , that’s the world telling you that you’re league is not respected as a real league . Imo the WNBA media played a big role in this and some of the players & their social media obsession also played a role!

@IowaWBB I'm not sure whether they're smiling. They should be completely humiliated and embarrassed about the way their "star player "has turned out. They participated in this by letting her do whatever she wanted.

@SportsPatriotUS They do not suck. They're doing their job. Nobody wants to look at the Real problem, which is Caitlin Clark herself. Blaming the coach, the other players, the officials, etc. is getting ridiculous. You're not always gonna like the outcome of the officials call but have to accept

My most common comment on X today has been: “The refs suck.” But do they? Are they simply bad at their jobs... or are they deliberately swallowing whistles, missing obvious contact, and controlling games through selective enforcement? Maybe they are exceptionally good at what they have been instructed to do. Maybe the problem is that we are evaluating them as basketball purists, and not as agenda driven psychopaths.

@DBGyt_ Oh of course it's the coaches fault. It's always somebody else's fault.

This is A'ja Wilson the race baiter and race poster following a male ref around because she hates men and sees herself as a victim. She targets this referee and keeps shouting at him. Hounding him because she played horrible and was losing to a better team. A'ja has always targeted referees instead of playing better. I'm surprised she didn't pull the racism card after the game. x.com/SophieC_FanClu…

@dandakich Oh my God. Stop with the whole lesbian and black thing. It's really getting old. Caitlin Clark has caused everything that's happening to her, but her behavior and inability to be coached or to follow with the leadership is telling her.

@TheLukaVerse @WNBA I am a medical provider. If I behave this way, I would be walked out. They would not blame the patient or the doctor or the office manager. As a grown adult woman it's her job to manage herself. The reason she's the way she is because she's never had to own up to her bad behavior

@TheLukaVerse @WNBA This is absolutely ridiculous. This is why we're in the predicament. We're in in this world. Everybody blames the other guy. It's Kaitlyn Clark's fault. It's not the official's fault. She needs to own up for her problems. The official was very professional.

Watch this angle of the confrontation between Caitlin Clark and referee Gerda Gatling last night. Caitlin walks away to defuse the situation, and Gerda follows her the entire time while continuing to chirp. That’s not what de-escalation looks like. The @WNBA needs to get a handle on its officials. Their job is to manage the game—not become part of the story.

@MSPORTSNETWORK @CaitlinClark22 Oh my goodness. Stop blaming everybody else but Kaitlyn Clark. She's a grown woman. She's responsible for her actions. Her yelling and screaming and whining and crying and flopping is not the coaches fault. It's completely unacceptable. This is a problem with our world.

@ChuckModi1 I don't understand why they can't just fire her. If I behave like that in my job, I would be fired immediately and walked out of the office. Just fire her. She doesn't need to be traded and she's not all that good. Let Raven Johnson play. Ty Harris is awesome as well.

@22CCnews She needs to get a life. All the players get hurt. A little, quad bruise, should be shaken off. She's a baby. I'm not sure how she was raised, but likely like a prima donna. She needs to get over herself.
