Jury have failed to reach a verdict at Liverpool Crown Court. This has been going on for nearly 2 years now. They were clearly seen on video assaulting a female police officer and breaking her nose. Multiple witnesses including other police officers: The jury’s been discharged today after failing to reach a verdict in the retrial of the two brothers for assaulting the male police officer. It’s a hung jury, so the CPS will decide by the end of the month whether to go for a third trial. One of them was already convicted last year of assaulting the two female officers and a member of the public. I’m starting to think this is a setup. Knowing full well this will piss people off and create tension. It’s almost like they want us to riot.
