NIFTY is sitting at 23,997. The options market is basically saying it wants to expire right here — max pain is 24,050. That's the market's "least drama" outcome.
If you're a trader, right now - selling premium in the 23,800–24,400 range with 2 days left is structurally the right side. Buying anything needs a very specific catalyst.
If we see a gap down Monday morning due to some news, there's very little protection in the structure — it could move fast toward 23,600–23,400. But absent that, it's a pinning, grinding, time-decay story.
