@realstewpeters This logic only works if US sanctions are toothless and India and China trade Iran and Russian oil freely

BESSENT: “Which is better: Oil spiking to $150/barrel and the Iranians getting 70% of that, or oil dropping below $100/barrel? It’s better to have them where they are now.” I’m sorry, WHAT?!?!

@TerribleMaps We have trains, which theoretically transport similar goods, much more efficiently. Of course, we have few lives because the gov gave the lines away to the barrons, why would a company build new lines?

Former Goldman Sachs CEO tonight on EVs with Bill Maher: Bill: "Once you have one (EV) it seems barbaric to go to a gas station." Lloyd: "I want to get into a car, know I can drive 300 miles and don't have to have my fingers crossed that I can recharge it and don't have it take 2 hours." Bill: "Lloyd, mine goes 360 (miles)."

@mikepat711 Yes. The gap is that your obsessed with "owning the latest gadget" If Iran were to drop a certain kind of bomb that wiped out all electronics here your car would be a paperweight while people with actual legacy cars <1980 would be driving past you.

Trump's Presidency is already "lost" The problem is, the Democrats have NO leader.. none.. there is literally no opposition. Trump's supporters (and I voted for him and know a ton of them) are vastly disappointed in him but with people like Harris, or Newsome as "the opposition" , there's no choice but to ride it out... what can we do?

I have a serious question. Explain it to me like I’m 5. The U.S. Navy isn’t able to eliminate Iran’s ability to complete blockade a 10 mile wide strait? You’re telling me that anybody with access to a couple hundred unmanned drones and a few dozen sea mines can outmatch the entire US Navy?

I hate driving my BMW since I got my Tesla. It's just such a good hassle-free daily driver car. I get angry that when I park my BMW I have to put it in park, put the handbrake on, turn the engine off, open the door, close the door, and lock the car all myself. Plus I have a ginormous key to carry around. With Tesla I can just unbuckle my seatbelt and open the door and it does everything else automatically as I walk away (yes even shutting the door by itself). I sat at BMW for 1.5 hours today while they changed my windscreen wipers, meanwhile Tesla is coming to do mobile service at my house this week to change one of the trunk motors. Pretty sure Tesla has ruined all other cars for me unless I get something really special like a porsche/lambo/ferrari/aston one day.

@TravisMcCain5 @Kam7810 "No One" [would use this] is a big claim for active park and rides at Mansell and Windward. It doesn't take every one; 1 bus reduces up to 40 cars off the road. One train, about 200 cars.

≈70% of Americans supported the war with Iraq. ≈30% of Americans support the war with Iran. The Iraq war triggered record anti-war protests across the US. You'd expect even larger protests now, yet they seem almost nonexistent Anyone have a theory as to why?

@AndrewKaufmanMD Better reasons the $; a fecal test costs $20; that camera and physicians has actual costs in the $100s That means that in addition to testing every 10 years, you can test more often (with fewer complications), and at home with no prep ... every 5 or 2 years.

Let’s pause and think about what actually happens during a colonoscopy. You’re sedated. A flexible tube with a small camera is inserted into the colon so physicians can examine the lining and remove abnormal growths at the discretion of the doctor. That lesion may become cancerous in 15-20 years or it may never become cancer. In the meantime, poking a little too hard with the instruments can make a hole, leaking fecal matter into your abdominal cavity. So you could end up with emergency surgery for a possible lesion that could possibly become cancerous someday. Now, instead of reacting emotionally or projecting the program you’ve been given, step back and think logically. Does this sound like a good idea? When a procedure can lead to death or permanent damage, don’t you think it’s time to rethink our approach?
