@teddycasino Big no to Marxist Communism. But I would say yes to presidential parliamentary. That could serve us better. Enough with the abused party list representative.

So actually, the recent events in the Senate prove how rotten the entire political system is. What will it take to make that revolutionary change? Elections na naman? A military dictatorship nanaman? Neverending appeals to the conscience and sense of righteousness of the existing political class? Eh di ano pa but a people’s democratic revolution. What and how? Yan ang dapat pag usapan natin.

@IvanAtHome If a Duterte becomes a president. Would you still want to abolish the senate? A sitting senator inside the senate requesting protection from an ICC WoA that they don't want to coordinate with the new SP. Is not questionable to you?

If an ordinary Filipino were suspected of crimes, the police would be raiding his house in the dead of night and dragging him to a police precinct within the hour. Meanwhile, if a Filipino senator was suspected of committing crimes against humanity by an international court, not only will the police show "restraint" - the Senate itself (filled with the most corrupt figures protecting a decayed institution) shelters him. It's widespread betrayal against the Filipino people and institutional sabotage against the rule of law. Look at the garbage they use to justify their defense of murderers. 'institutional courtesy', the "integrity" of the Senate, the "independence" of the legislative branch of government. Cheap words to defend cheap people! They coordinated with each other to sneak him in, to cause a distraction to sneak him out, to take him to NAIA and to potentially hide him until now. What a cheap and disgusting institution the Philippine Senate has become. It should ideally be abolished. Shame to all the senators that watched this thing take place but remained silent in the face of such blatant outrage. philstar.com/headlines/2026…

@Politiko_Ph @IvanAtHome Why can't they just say this in the first place? Why all the lies? This was a better excuse (if indeed this was true). The problem is, this now will highly be questionable since they came up with this just now.

Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President and General Manager Jose Arnulfo "Wick" Veloso reportedly requested the deployment of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents to the GSIS complex on May 13 after receiving information about an alleged attempt to smuggle Senator Ronald Dela Rosa out of the Senate through a passageway linking the Senate and GSIS buildings, Politiko learned. politiko.com.ph/2026/05/16/bat…

Sabi ni Edwin Lacierda sa The Spokes, maayos daw ang pagpapalakad ni Tito Sotto as SP who is not even a lawyer. Both Chiz and APC are lawyers, right? Napariwara ang Senado under their leadership. What did their actions say about lawyers? 🧐

Over tbe alleged Senate "attack", Let's get one thing straight. GSIS owns the building where the Senate is. It dictates up to where the peoperty line is. Obviously, THAT glass door marks the property line. So where was that NBI "shooter" when Aplasca actually challenged him?

@smirkit @titaoiah27 They were securing it because Bato could use that building to escape. They were ensuring that Bato stays in one place so they can eventually serve the warrant. Had they not sealed the connecting tunnels and the back area, Bato could easily sneak out via the Dampa Market.

Ma’am Zyann Ambrosio is soooo clever! She did not disclose her location while reporting. She managed to record despite fear and panic. She was strategic by not posting or exposing her video recording early. Naghintay muna until may mga inilabas na narratives na wala namang patunay. Kaya ayan, di magtagpo-tagpo ang istorya nong mga senators na sabay-sabay nag-live, OSAA head and especially APC. Lantaran ang mga sinungaling.

@informedph2 14. There was a record of NBI Dir. saying that they have no presence in the Senate when a senator was asking for their help. Only to say hours later that they are in GSIS in full tactical gear after news came out that an NBI volunteer was apprehended.

From a the facebook post of Mogs Manuel Mogato: The shooting incident at the Senate building is getting clear. 1. The NBI has a presence at the GSIS building, adjacent to the Senate premises. 2. The NBI was bolting a door at the first floor to prevent people from the Senate to exit into the GSIS building. 3.There were five or six NBI agents at the second floor of the GSIS building that has an access to the Senate building but they were there to prevent anybody to exit the Senate to GSIS. They have no intention to get into the Senate to serve the ICC warrant. 4. The NBI presence at GSIS was based on a written request by the GSIS executives. 5. The shooting was initiated by the OSAA when Mao Aplasca fired a warning shot. Aplasca has to explain why he fired a warning shot when the NBI was not breaking into the Senate. As a former police officer, Aplasca should know it was illegal to fire a warning shot. Worse, Aplasca should know he was firing at a person of authority. 6. Given that the NBI fired back at least five shots, Aplasca’s men retaliated with almost 30 shots. 7. Police investigating the incident noticed the trajectory of the bullets were toward the ceiling and upper portion of glass panel. 8. Paraffin and ballistic tests and the CCTV would further set the record straight. 9. The incident showed the Senate was not under attack. Aplasca fired the first shot. And it was not justified in the absence of a threat. If the Senate was under attack, security personnel would remove the senators from the building but why did they stay up to almost midnight. Kumain pa. 10. It appeared the incident was planned. The AFP and PNP assigned to the Senate did not discharge their firearms, only the OSAA personnel. It was an overkill. Aplasca is liable for creating an incident that could harm civilians, including journalists. There was no assault. The NBI had identified himself as a law enforcer, so there was no reason for Aplasca to fire a warning shot. Mukhang staged to create an incudent, a pretext for Senator Ronald Dela Rosa to escape and go into hiding again, evading an ICC arrest warrant and a possible TRO and SQA denial from the Supreme Court He could run but not forever. The ICC warrant does not expire

@informedph2 11. The NBI was in GSIS to secure the bldg based on the letter request. Not to prevent anyone from the Senate to exit to the GSIS side. 12. They are in full tactical gear with vest cameras recording. All to secure the bldg.
