Great to be out in front of our scientific peers at this year's #OCB2024 Summer Workshop talking about #OIF and #mCDR. Good work Jessica! @Cafe_Thorium @FeiChai8 @smith8272 @kramakrishna247 @US_OCB @ExOIS_OceanIron

Jessica Drysdale gave a great overview of the objectives and activities of #ExOIS at the #OCB2024 Summer Workshop, and the need for the best science to find out if #OceanIronFertilization #OIF should be part of our #mCDR toolbox. Thank you @US_OCB for the pic and time to present!

#algalbbb 2024 is here! Conference starts today. Excited to be here in Clearwater, Florida to see everyone, talk to students and colleagues, and hear all the latest in the world of algal research

I'll be presenting a plenary talk at #AlgalBBB 2024 this year - it's exciting to see how much the algae industry has grown since I became involved with it during my PhD studies in 2008. Very honored to be attending this conference and excited to see algae colleagues! Who's going?

@Th_Mock ahhh I'm so sorry to hear this! A giant in the field certainly. Aquatic Photosynthesis has been something of a bible to me throughout my studies and career. What a loss, and what a legacy.

Very sad news! We have lost a giant in plant science, algal research, and aquatic photosynthesis. Still have fond memories of truly inspiring dinner conversations with John on algal meetings in the U.K. and elsewhere. His work has influenced generations of researchers like myself

Glad to see this in @nytimes and glad this scientist found a solution that works for her. The dilemma is real, and unfortunately taking kids into the field is not an option for many of us. We need to keep thinking creatively about how to support (and retain) moms in the field.
