I try to be fair. I'm a Christian, ive taught them Christian beliefs, but I dont force anything on them.
My oldest and youngest attend church with me, the middle child hasn't in years. All 3 have the choice.
Im also very curious and ive taught them curiosity. Challenge your beliefs, learn things contradictory to what you believe and either your beliefs will change and you grow, or you beliefs become even stronger, and still, you've grown.

@smithhmesteadms I’m in a complex with a HOA, and there’s an industrial area less than a half mile away. There are some creeks within walking distance. We have lots of butterflies, finches, Jays and cardinals, and fireflies all summer. No bug zappers and the lawn service doesn’t use Roundup.

I see fireflies all the time. I also don't rake the leaves in my yard.
I leave wood piles at the edge of my property.
And the grass grows tall at the back of my property.
Ive seen ao many complaints over the years about fireflies going missing, my question, are people providing them a place to lay their eggs, grow their larva, and survive?
Or are fireflies just missing in places of landscaped lawns and chemical use?

I’ve genuinely not seen a firefly in at least 10 years. And I live in the Deep South. Used to see them all the time growing up.

Im not sure, but I know manicured lawns do not provide them what they need for egg laying.

@smithhmesteadms I’m in a very landscaped condo. We have a ton of fireflies. I’d say they’re on the increase. People complaining probably have bug zappers.
