the French man who filmed his wife’s repeated rapes, that he organized and arranged, said he did it because he “wanted to subdue an unbreakable woman.” this is the core of domestic violence. this is it. right here. it’s not because a woman is weak or passive. it’s because his desire to destroy her is greater than anything else. it’s misogyny. men who desire to subdue unbreakable women hate women. they are misogynists.

She never lived to see this moment, but it’s worth remembering that none of this would have happened without Virginia Giuffre. She had the courage to speak out against power & privilege when it was just her word against Andrew’s. Thanks to her, justice may finally have its day.

If you still ask why women and survivors in general didn’t come forward sooner, THIS IS FUCKING WHY!!! There are 3 million files of documented evidence and you still don’t believe them!

If u r also triangulating btw anger, totalising despair & a paralysing sense of insignificance in the face of a groundswell of hate, then come along to this where you can: channel ur personal rage in2 a collective voice of protest; stand & be counted; find comfort in community.

I have never felt so shaken. Children are dying of hunger. Falling one after another, like petals of a dying flower. Under our watch. How do you sleep, Presidents, Foreign Ministers, political leaders, diplomats, civil servants - doing nothing to stop Israel’s starvation campaign? PS: Talking politics while dodging genocide perfectly meets the definition of doing nothing.

The sheer intellectual collapse you have to experience to be faced with 122 international aid organisations telling you the same thing... ISRAEL IS STARVING GAZANS... only to decide they are ALL lying & that actually Benjamin Netanyahu, on trial for fraud, is telling the truth.

This is one of those images you instantly know will appear in history books of the future. And people will wonder how we allowed this to happen.

It's becoming easier to find a climate denier among climate scientists than a genocide-denier among genocide scholars. Extremely important piece in the NY Times -->

@DylanoA4 This very much reads like Jung’s ‘active imagination’ process. I believe Rebecca Tarnas has written about the creative similarities between Tolkien & Jung.
