Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge will no longer be set in the time period of the sequel trilogy and will be less of an in-universe Star Wars experience for visitors beginning April 29.
Kylo Ren has been shelved, while Rey will only be seen around the Rise of the Resistance ride. In their place are Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.
John Williams’ Star Wars theme will also be broadcast at Galaxy’s Edge for the first time.

@CmdrSoliest @frontierdev @EliteDangerous The lights don’t need to reach the ground but an illuminated square where the lights are pointing would make sense and be very helpful for aligning SRV boarding.
English

Hey @frontierdev, why are those lights not reaching the surface of the planet? It would make driving to the ship a little bit easier in @EliteDangerous.

@retneysholocron Wrong. The phantom menace is one of the best Star Wars films.

That’s one of the most dramatic fresh impacts ever seen on Mars! This crater formed sometime between July and September 2018 and was discovered by HiRISE on MRO. What makes it so striking is the two-tone blast zone:The broad, light-colored halo is material scoured clean from the impact’s shockwave and high-speed winds (up to hundreds of km/h), blowing away the bright seasonal CO₂ frost and exposing cleaner ice beneath.
The darker inner splash is basaltic sand/dust that was buried under the thin (~1–2 m) seasonal ice cap. The impactor punched straight through the ice, excavated the dark regolith, and draped it outward in a starburst pattern.
The crater itself is only ~15–20 meters wide, but the full dark ejecta blanket extends hundreds of meters. Because it happened during southern winter, the blast pattern was preserved beautifully under the frost until spring revealed it.These “new” craters are goldmines for science: they expose fresh subsurface material, let us date very recent events, and show how impacts interact with the polar layered deposits and seasonal ice.Absolutely wild to think this explosion happened just a few years ago, and we have before/after images of the exact spot going from blank to this! Thanks for sharing such a cool HiRISE shot!

@Placebo_obecalP @ObsidianAnt The ship combat in elite dangerous is some of the best.
English

@ObsidianAnt I haven't played it in years and years, did they ever do anything about the ship combat? I never liked how weirdly restrictive the space battles were.
English

@cmdrexorcist It’s a great ship, not sure why anyone would hate. I’m not a huge fan of the holographic elements but I can just deactivate those.
English

I freakin' love this ship and I know there's some manufactured hate out there for it. I'll just say this...if you come to complain and your first words are, "As a lifetime backer of Elite Dangerous..." your opinion will be discarded before I finish reading it. I guarantee that line has never worked on anyone, so for the love of God, let it go. The past Elite Dangerous is in the past. This is future (now) Elite Dangerous. Welcome to the show.😆 #EliteDangerous #Caspian
