Steve Sarkisian speaks on constructing rosters through NIL and some strong words with the challenges of dealing with specific agents: “There are some agents that are rational, and there are some agents that this is the first time ever being an agent, I don't know if they are even licensed to be an agent, and all of a sudden they get to be agents because we have no certification process in college football. In the NFL, you have to be certified. In college football, it may be their college roommate their freshman year and this guy is throwing out numbers and it's like, we can't even deal with this. Like, you just move on.”

NEW: Ohio police start pepper-spraying high school football players after a scuffle broke out following the post-game handshake line. Massillon police were seen running onto the field as tensions began heating up. Players on the Cardinal Ritter College Prep team, who lost, from St. Louis, Missouri, were sprayed in the face by police. They travelled 500 miles for the game. Parents claim there was no fighting; however, police and video footage say otherwise. Police said there were "multiple physical altercations" on the field, and the verbal commands they gave to de-escalate were ignored. "The Ritter players again charged at Massillon players who were now near the band. This was an unfortunate and difficult situation for officers..." Massillon police said. "Ultimately, two Massillon police officers deployed pepper spray, which was effective."

@Schultz_Report @MicahhParsons11 Regardless of how much money I ever made in life, it would have taken an act of God for my parents to quit their jobs. Not because they need the income, but are blue collar workers who take pride in everything they do.

@DreAllDay @CollinRugg First, let’s be cordial in discourse, you don’t know me and I don’t know you. But by claiming, “DEI,” you are attempting to discredit her mass appeal. If anything, they will sell more copies by widening their consumer market via Angel’s popularity with the non 2k fanbase.

Strawman. Appeal to Emotion. I said nothing about my level of fandom, respect for her work, or whether or not she has positioned herself to land the cover. If they put a man on the WNBA cover, there are men who would buy the game. Just because some people will buy 2K because of her, does not mean it’s a good business decision for the company. Especially if, there are other WNBA players who would help them sell more games – because they are in the business of, let’s not forget, selling the game.

NEW: WNBA star Angel Reese named NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition cover athlete. In a statement, Reese said she hopes to show young girls they can "be confident, bold, and take up space unapologetically." "Being on the cover of NBA 2K26 and debuting my first-ever signature shoe with Reebok on that cover, the Angel Reese 1, is more than a milestone — it’s a statement," she said in a press release from 2K. "It’s about representation and showing young girls they can be confident, bold, and take up space unapologetically." "To be cemented in NBA 2K history is a special honor that reflects not only my journey, but also all the veteran WNBA players who have paved the way before me and the growing impact of the league as a whole."

@DreAllDay @CollinRugg DEI? You don’t have to personally be a fan to respect her work. She has positioned herself in a way to get these opportunities. There is a population of girls that will buy 2K because of Angel, but aren’t your typical 2k consumers. And they don’t give a damn about her “game.”

This is a DEI decision. She has been playing well lately. This decision was made long before that. It’s not about basketball. Sports video games are made so that everyday person can try to be the athlete (Bo Jackson, LeBron, Curry) through a game console, since they can’t come close in real life. No young lady is plugging in WNBA 2K to try to use Reese‘s skill package. The move is, actually, everything this prepared PR statement says. Make a spectacle of yourself outside of the actual performance requirements of your profession – and that is enough to make you a star. Reese did not start this. She is just embodying it. This does not bode well for the future of professional work, in general.

@B1TuckerCarlson 2 questions come to mind as an innocent bystander. Why does today’s society have a fetish for punishment? When has anyone in human history been OK with being arrested for anything? Detainment is not comfortable in any since, especially if you genuinely did nothing wrong.
