@ignorantmusings @TheCrazyNodak @Moneyline_Mac A game between a shitty Falcons team and a shitty Saints team was one of the most talked about games of the year because of its playoff implications. (Both teams weren’t even eligible for the playoffs, they were playing for other teams lol)

@TheCrazyNodak @Moneyline_Mac It is meaningless week to week. Carolina made it with a losing record, the packers only had 9 wins… when the good teams play in the regular season there are no stakes…

We have literally been lied to about everything Matt Walsh “The Rosa Parks story you were taught in school was fake too. This was not just some woman on her way home from work. Civil rights leaders thought Parks would make a sympathetic face for their lawsuit and then told her, a longtime NAACP volunteer, to create a situation where she'd be arrested. This gets sold to the public as totally organic when actually it's playacting to create ideal conditions for a court case or scandal. The iconic photo of Parks on the bus was staged months after the incident as part of a press campaign. (The photo is shown in the clip) The white man, sitting behind her in the bus photo was a journalist, which you probably didn't know.” Let’s fact check this. It’s 100% true What Actually Happened on December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks was a longtime NAACP volunteer and secretary of the Montgomery chapter. She had been deeply involved in civil rights activism for years (including work on cases like the Recy Taylor rape and voter registration efforts). She was not just a random tired seamstress on her way home from work who spontaneously refused to move. Local civil rights leaders had been looking for a strong test case to challenge bus segregation. They even had people cast for the role before Rosa Parks. Earlier attempts include 15 year old Claudette Colvin were passed over because leaders felt Rosa Parks, a mature, respected, married woman with a spotless reputation, would be a more sympathetic plaintiff in court and to the public The Iconic Photo was 100% staged The famous photo was taken on December 21, 1956, this is over a year after her arrest and on the first day the buses were integrated after the Supreme Court ruling It was deliberately staged by journalists, Look Magazine and UPI, for a press campaign to dramatize the victory The white man sitting behind her is Nicholas Chriss, a UPI reporter, not a random angry passenger or segregationist

Gina is way too happy for a fighter who lost in 17 seconds. I don't like it. Good for her for getting in there and losing all that weight... but this is really, really weird.

People are calling that fight rigged. It wasn’t rigged, it was just a lopsided mismatch. Carano hasn’t fought in 17 years and this is what Ronda has historically done against outmatched opponents. Rigged outcome? No. Largely obvious outcome. Certainly.

@JarrodPike @Its_Coach_Steve So are we advocating for it to get worse? If there was some incentive to staying in the G6, like I don’t know, maybe a playoff birth, maybe high level sophomores and juniors wouldn’t take off to sit on the bench the next year

@Its_Coach_Steve '26 Draft picks by conference: SEC: 87 (16 teams) BIG: 68 (18 teams) Big 12: 38 (16 teams) ACC: 38 (18 teams) Total: 231 (64 teams) G6: 14 (19 including WSU) (80 teams) The gap is getting getting WIDER, not narrower. Most of the top

G6 fans have, by your own admission, very loudly told the world they have zero interest in a G6 playoff because theyd rather compete for the top title. And they are right to do so. At some point, everyone will be forced to acknowledge that the gap between a top G6 and a top P4 is way smaller than what we've been led to believe. If it was, P4 teams wouldnt gut G6 rosters every season. If it was, P4 teams wouldnt be poaching entire G6 coaching staffs every offseason. The only ones that want a G6 playoff are the SEC/B10 fans and admins that are absolutely terrified of being exposed by a "lesser" program.
Ken LaVicka@KLVsays

nah you're right, having a reg season that means zero except a trip to Frisco bc the bottomless pocket, roster-poaching power leagues have decided to strong arm the sport and openly spit on your playoff inclusion, whether it's 2, 4, 8, 12 or 24 teams is a super cool existence.

Just a reminder… Strickland had DDP “crawling to the bathroom” after their first fight from the damage… The second fight, Sean fought with Staph as well as an injury… DDP does not win the 3rd fight if he ever gets it.

@NippleVonHustle @aiden2wo2imes @up_ruth SOTL is one of the first “good” movies I ever watched and it’s just a banger in general but Manhunter just has more style. Brian Cox is just as good as Lector and Manhunter’s Tooth Fairy is better than Buffalo Bill. The fucking tiger scene and the shootout 🤌🤌🤌🤌

@aiden2wo2imes @NippleVonHustle @up_ruth I said this after watching Manhunter. I came to the conclusion I like Manhunter better and was trying to make the case it was better overall and realized I was being a dork. Truly a two cakes situation

@SICKYDOESMMA I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ranked fight where one guy looked so visibly shaken as that fight. Sean quickly realized he had NOTHING for Morales. Imagine a guy sticking his hips that far out and he’s still 3-4 inches taller than you? Morales wins 10 out of 10 times

Kofi has a nearly similar career track as Jey Uso. Are ya’ll going to call Jey Uso the greatest midcarder of all time when he’s gone too? There’s a lot of recency bias in the IWC right now.
