Petrol prices have shot up this morning, a quick reaction to the news of Dangote pricing in USD, and that’s okay. The problem is: when global prices go down, in reaction to a news/development, these guys say they can’t immediately adjust prices downward because of “old stock”. Every single one of them is then locked in agreement. That is what market forces are in this country.

If Dangote wants dollars to sell petrol in Nigeria... The FEDERAL government must also demand his companny's Nigerian TAX in DOLLARS... END OF STORY! Additionally Dangote should not be given any tax waivers or breaks until he reverses the policy... There is no excuse... the NAIRA is now more stable than it has ever been... Dangote cannot hold a nation ransom... 🇳🇬💥🙏

You can call Uba Sani names or not agree with his policies but one thing he's not is a religious bigot, he's way better than El-Rufai in terms of governance and the ability to read the room, where El-Rufai sowed seeds of division, Uba is sowing seeds of unity, i call on kaduna resident to vote him in 2027 unapologetically, I also call on investors to invest in Kaduna State!

You can be a Minister, but without the President’s support, you won’t perform well. That’s why every morning I tell my wife she prays a lot, I don’t know how to pray well. My own prayer is ‘God let me come back home safely.’ But I tell her: keep praying that President Tinubu will not look away from us. - FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike

@eltama007 @olumidecapital Well maybe cause the Refinery is a Free trade zone, that might be the reason for the Dollar I understand there’s still an existing Naira4Crude framework still in place and if you check

Minister sir, here is a tiktoker Abdul Aminu Gwaska, a native of Zamfara State, who acts as the head of a dangerous mining syndicate currently expanding its footprint across Ilesha. The documented evidence reveals that he coordinates multiple high intensity illegal mining sites by actively recruiting a massive influx of external laborers to carry out the physical excavation and processing of gold. To fuel this operation, his syndicate even utilizes a digital recruitment and sales infrastructure, providing a direct link for individuals to submit their personal information to join the illicit trade or purchase their illegal products. Furthermore, intelligence shows that Aminu is actively collaborating with local village heads and traditional chiefs, who welcome and house these illegal miners within the community. This high level collusion grants his syndicate a social shield, effectively protecting their activities from accountability while they systematically destroy farmlands and pollute vital water bodies. If this dangerous partnership between illegal miners and local leadership is allowed to persist, it will inevitably lead to a total security breach. You should take a look into his operation and also his sponsors and his collaborators.
Dele Alake@AlakeDele

Our joint task force, working with security agencies, shut down an illegal gold-mining operation at Ileki-Ijesa in Osun State. We arrested two suspects on-site, seized their equipment and sealed the area. The suspects are currently cooperating with investigators to help us track down the financiers backing these operations. I want to be clear that our focus isn't just on the casual workers on the ground. We are actively going after the sponsors and quiet backers of these illicit activities. Through the work of our Mining Marshals, we have already arrested over 300 illegal miners and prosecuted more than 150 of them, including foreign nationals. Illegal mining destroys local farmland, pollutes our waters and invites insecurity into peaceful communities. The government cannot police every stretch of land alone. If you live in these areas, I urge you to work with us. Do not shield these operators. We are committed to making sure Nigeria's mineral wealth actually benefits Nigerians and we will keep putting the pressure on until the sector is completely orderly and sanitised.

You are and will always be a mad man, this Salako of a creature. I don’t even read your tweets or acknowledge your existence. You tweet rubbish to rile up an ignorant bunch who seek online toxicity. I pray for Nigeria’s daily progress, even where I may have had stern displeasures with the government and the system in general. Some of us wake up to create jobs and empower fellow citizens daily. If I see quantifiable progress, I will applaud greatly. Unfortunately miserable creatures like yourself, bring your life frustrations to the internet. Get a life!!!

PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN)
You are not just ignorant you are dangerously uninformed. Let me educate you, since your understanding of military operations is clearly limited to what you see in action movies. In every professional military across the globe, combat camera (COMCAM) and public relations (APRD) personnel are an integral part of operations. They are trained soldiers who carry weapons and are deployed alongside frontline troops to document operations for intelligence, training, and historical records. They do not just stand behind the line. They are on the line. From the U.S. military to the British Army, from the IDF to the Nigerian Army combat camera operators are embedded with frontline units. They run, they take cover, they engage, and they document. Because without them, there would be no visual evidence of operations, no training material for future missions, and no historical record of sacrifice. What do you think? That they are sitting in an air-conditioned office editing videos? No. They are in the same bush. They are under the same fire. They are carrying the same weight with rifles and also carrying cameras. So before you mock the presence of a camera operator in a military operation, ask yourself: where do you think every combat video you watch comes from? Who do you think documents the bravery you claim to respect? The camera is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of professionalism. And the men holding them are soldiers just like the ones holding rifles. STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW. CLEARLY, THIS ISN'T IT. SO CRAW BACK TO YOUR HOLE, REAL MEN ARE WORKING.
