@BScale101 So that it is clear, President Obama was supposed to fix 242 years of crap in eight years. Is that your opinion? Why are you emotional?

@Phil_Lewis_ Why they gotta sacrifice? That’s insane. Leave them alone. Your old asses should have made sure we had everything in place instead of shucking and jiving for Barack Obama. Yall partied for 8 years instead of getting him to write meaningful legislation. Leave them kids alone!

Yes. He’s the most famous entertainer in history. All of the entertainers you mentioned can sit courtside at a NBA game. Michael Jackson could not. @MagicJohnson told the story of how he invited MJ to a Lakers game and it created so much chaos, they had to stop the game. MJ had to leave because fans were leaving their seats to try to get to him. None of the people you mentioned have that level of fame where they can’t attend public events.

Is Michael Jackson really bigger than Eminem, Jay z, Lil Wayne, Taylor swift, Rihanna and Beyonce all put together?

Went to a client’s home today wearing my rosary. 📿 Client: "What’s that on your neck?" Me: "It’s a rosary." Client: "We don't allow such in our house." Me: "Say no more, let me just put it in the car..." 🏃🏾‍♂️ Fast forward: I’m currently at HOME on my sofa and she’s blowing up my phone. Since when did a cross become a security threat? Listen, even if I love money, this one has refused.

@shutter_200 @Techie_ego @KagimuDrImran Let's say the sal range is 70,000-100,000. I want 80% of the midpoint. Therefore, you add 70,000 + 100,000 = 170,000; then 170,000 ÷ 2 = 85,000 midpoint; then 85,000 × .80 = 68,000 is the minimum I would take.

Today I was on an interview panel. One of the applicants was asked to state his salary expectations and he said: "I know it's already determined, I just need the job and whatever money you're willing to pay" He was hired, guess what was done to the salary 🥺

@KagimuDrImran Employers and interviewers can tell when a candidate is desperate and best believe the expected salary for that role will be reduced for such a candidate. No matter how much you need a job, never sound desperate.

NEW: JD Vance flew to Rome to formally invite Pope Leo XIV to join America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The first American pope has declined — days after rejecting President Trump’s “Board of Peace” invitation. On July 4, he’ll be in Lampedusa, standing with migrants — not in Washington — drawing another stark line between the Trump-Vance White House and the Catholic Church under Leo. thelettersfromleo.com/p/in-another-b…

Yes, hypothetically. The Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation applied only to states in rebellion as of Jan 1, 1863. If Confederate states rejoined the Union by then (e.g., by sending representatives to Congress), they wouldn't be deemed rebellious, so their slaves wouldn't be freed under it. Slavery might have continued until the 13th Amendment in 1865 or voluntary state abolition. (Sources: National Archives transcript)

To be fair would you trust a "baby sitting age" male to make sure diapers were changed, the kid fed timely, etc? I could never have babysat a literal baby when I was 16-18. Forget changing diapers, i didnt even know how to hold a baby at that time. I did babysit my cousins a couple time, but by that time they were already potty trained and really just needed food & supervision. Contrast that with girls of baby-sitting age who are attentive, know what to do, etc. I have a son & 2 daughters and I would never let my son babysit another human being 😅 let alone a baby. But both my daughters would be great at it. Men & women are different. Physically, mentally, & emotionally.

Last week, I was telling my coworkers how a man followed me down the street, threatened me and forced me to give him my number. And one of my male coworkers said, "Well, not all men"... Today, the same male coworker asked me if I knew any babysitters because he wanted to hire one for his newborn daughter, and I asked him, "A male babysitter or a female one?" He looked at me in disbelief & said "obv female are you crazy"..... Like Hello Sir, what happened to "Not all men?"

I need Black people in Baton Rouge and Louisiana to recognize how the Attorney General of this state is using a large portion of her time to target Black leadership. If you’re Black and you’re pushing the line hard for Black people these leaders use the media and their power to make you believe they are criminals. All while barely reporting on the actions of white leaders stealing piles of money and still serving. @councilmanclevedunnjr is the target today, but it’s not just him. @tyrintruong is another example of a Black man targeted by these folks. The goal is to discredit and demonize Black people. Scrutinize every thing she says because she has an agenda to diminish the power of Black people in Louisiana and this country. The AG ignores so much of what white leadership on Louisiana does. Case in point Councilwoman Lori Adams White and her husband. There are some who believe if Black people are getting anything it means someone gave it to us, we didn’t earn it or deserve it. The same way they ignore the negative news on the people they elect, we need to recognize the play and stop throwing out our warriors so they can be comfortable with weak Black leaders vs being held to account by strong Black leaders.
