Well, I think I can call myself an OSS Contributor now? So, I was fucking around with my BeagelBone black in January this year, and I tried installing an Adafruit library onto the board, which promptly broke when I tried running the script. Turns out, it was s silly error in one of these files, where the sys/time.h library was not explicitly included in the py_gpio.c file. I fixed it and thought that's that now, but after a round of consultation with chatGPT, I decided to make a PR and that was the end of it for me. I get a mail today, that my change was deemed good enough to be merged, and while it is literally a single line of code - I AM AN OSS CONTRIBUTOR NOW?!?!

Made good progress on my terminal-based text editor: multiple buffers are in place and some raw mode issues are fixed. Mouse support still needs a lil work lol Next up: starting work on the GUI… and figuring out a color scheme that doesn’t hurt to look at
