@AntiTrumpCanada If you are really upset your government provides assisted suicide for depression.

Watching both of these people speak one after another presented such a clear contrast and choice for the future.
We can go with Ben Shapiro's clearly defined conservatism, or we can go with Tucker Carlson's ever-changing definitions and personal agendas.
Ben Shapiro was calm, cool, and collected, while Tucker was shouting like a maniac and responding to strawmen, with blood coming out of his eyes.
This is not a close call for me. I'm going with Ben Shapiro ten times out of ten.

@DeepNotShallow Ah, yes… and nothing to do with the corrupt government spending. Hundreds of millions of dollars to illegals is TABOR’s fault for the government’s misuse of funds.
English

TABOR has defunded our public services for 30+ years. Now at the end of decades of conservative austerity they're complaining that we don't have enough resources to deter crime.
Literally, you all caused this problem. REPEAL TABOR
Kristi Burton Brown@KBBColorado
Here’s a big reason Colorado is the 2nd most dangerous state with high levels of repeat and violent crimes. ⬇️ The Dept of Corrections is getting parole assessments wrong 98% of the time. How is this even possible? #copolitics

@XcelEnergyCO It’s a beautiful, sunny Colorado day and Xcel shuts off everyone’s power for “their protection”. You should only have this ability if the wind actually starts. This is so insane

The National Weather Service has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) alert associated with today's Red Flag Warning in Colorado. This is the most extreme categorization for risk the NWS has and is a rare occurrence.
Due to extreme wind and critically dry conditions that are expected to match or exceed Wednesday’s severe weather, a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) has been implemented for customers in Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties today, Friday, Dec. 19. We expect this to be a very severe weather event with unplanned outages expected to significantly exceed the number of customers affected by a PSPS.
Due to changing weather patterns, conditions are now expected to improve between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday evening. High winds, causing additional outages, will persist beyond 10 p.m. As soon as it is safe to do so, hundreds of crew members are prepared to begin inspecting power lines and restoring service.
Turning off the power is not a decision we take lightly, and we will strive to restore power as soon as it is safe to do so. We stress that some customers may experience extended outages lasting several hours to several days as crews work to restore power. We understand how frustrating it is to experience extended outages and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep crews and customers safe.
We are committed to seeing through this next round of extreme weather alongside first responders and community support organizations. Together we will do everything we can to protect our communities.
Resource centers with access to phone charging and other home emergency supplies will be available for customers in some communities. Xcel Energy’s RED Trucks will be available at some resource centers to provide support and information to customers. More information is available at xcelenergy.com/wildfire.

@renee_red2 @XcelEnergyCO Because they have a utility monopoly and just as corrupt as the politicians that are supposed to hold them accountable.
English

@XcelEnergyCO Your company is clearly ran by morons. You have had years to work on infrastructure and bury lines. Instead, you lined your own pockets and have left your customers to suffer for days. This is unacceptable. How is no one in Colorado stopping you from doing this?
English

Based on current forecasts of extreme wind and critically dry conditions, a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) will be required for customers in Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties on Friday, Dec. 19, beginning as early as 5 a.m. Weather conditions are expected to start improving around 6 p.m. Friday evening, though high winds that may create wildfire risk and cause outages are expected to continue through the evening.
As with yesterday’s weather, there may be unplanned outages outside of the PSPS event due to high winds or Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings. For updated information on restoration efforts and potential areas of impact, visit: xcelener.gy/490kzET
In the meantime, crews are working to restore power for all customers impacted by yesterday’s weather and our initial PSPS. See how we are continually investing in and building out our systems to reduce the risk of wildfire and limit the size, scale and duration of potential power disruptions: xcelener.gy/490kAbV

@soslothfully @XcelEnergyCO They are also raising costs to meet the Governors “green energy goals”. While banning out cheapest energy source, Nat Gas.
English

@XcelEnergyCO @XcelEnergyCO took that Marshall Fire money and said F U to the entire state of Colorado - didn’t upgrade shit in the 4 years since and their best course of action is to just shut off power to an entire city. @XcelEnergyCO bet your CEO still has power with that fat $12M paycheck
English

@XcelEnergyCO I understand you think the wind my start at 5 am, but if it isn’t windy, why do you still shut the power off? Why not wait until the wind actually starts picking up?
English

@XcelEnergyCO Where is the update! 6pm came and went and many don’t have power in Jefferson County.
English

We have implemented a Public Safety Power Shutoff impacting about 50,000 customers in Boulder, Clear Creek, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties. Weather conditions are expected to improve starting around 6 p.m.
Customers impacted by today’s PSPS can charge their devices at Community Resource Centers. More information on locations and up-to-date event information is available at co.my.xcelenergy.com/s/outage-safet….
Hundreds of Xcel Energy crew members and contractors are positioned along the Front Range, ready to restore power due to the PSPS as well as any other outages caused by high winds. Crews must inspect power lines and equipment and repair damage before it can be safely re-energized.
As crews begin restoring power to those affected by today’s severe weather and PSPS event, please remember to give them the space they need to do their job safely and efficiently. You can help Xcel Energy get a jump on power restoration by reporting outages and any damage to power lines that you see.
Severe weather that may create wildfire risk and cause outages is expected again on Friday. We are evaluating the potential need for a second PSPS event impacting mountain communities and the Front Range on Friday, Dec. 19, beginning as early as 5 a.m. Friday’s storm may overlap with some communities impacted by today's severe weather, which could mean that certain areas could be without power for more than three days.

High winds in dry conditions are not new in the Denver Metro Area.
What changed Xcel?
Be specific.
Name the legal, policy, asset condition & maintenance issues, or lack of fire response that justify or require power shutdowns.
Climate change is NOT an acceptable answer.
Xcel Energy Colorado@XcelEnergyCO
@wrongsideoflove The decision will be made based on the weather, Shutoff may take several hours to several days. We recommend making arrangements for a longer time frame. Please visit PSPS Event Update web page for updates.

Good news ahead of the holidays, Colorado has some of the lowest gas prices in the country with prices in Colorado Springs under $2 including all fees and taxes (we have 15th lowest gas taxes and fees in the country) and a statewide average of $2.46, which is 4th lowest in the entire country!

Vast majority of households in Denver rely on Xcel for power. They found last week that all natural gas will be pulled out of their homes, rates are going to increase, and now the WIND may result in power being shutoff for several days.
You guys done with this commie crap yet?

🚨 California Congresswoman who was forced to resign is back AS A HOMELESS NGO CEO
She also was Executive Director of a $160 million homeless NGO that got $17 million for a Venice Beach project that HOUSED ZERO PEOPLE
@5149jamesli “According to their own statistics, it showed that they only helped 35 people exit homelessness in one year, which is about 3% of the homeless people that passed through its doors
— After a few rough years, Katie is making a comeback as the new CEO of a homeless organization called Union Station Homeless Services. But interestingly, not only did she get that job, she was also at the same time appointed to the LA Homeless Services Authority, another monstrously fraudulent agency.
Allegedly an agency that I've dug into in the past, and I'll just say it's quite sketchy, which conveniently is responsible for doling out tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars worth of contracts to various nonprofit organizations, including Katie's new gig at Union Station Homeless Services.
I wonder what the plan is there. Well, actually, you don't have to wonder, because they tell you in their press release, they tell us why they chose.
Katie says Ms. Hill brings a proven ability to manage and scale large organizations. As executive director at Path, she grew the annual budget from &5 million to 50 million and managed a staff of 500 employees. This is how success is measured”
Before becoming a congresswoman she was a homeless NGO CEO and now after leaving congress she’s back to the homeless NGO money laundering scam
These criminals never stop stealing our money
