I want to share something we've been working on at D-Pad Studio for the past while: We're putting together GAMES OF NORWAY! Its a massive Steam sales event featuring as many Norwegian games as humanly possible! (140+) It lasts from May 11th - 18th, so keep an eye out!

I'm responsible for the visual and logo design for this. Paintin' rocks and letters seems to be my calling in life, so it was a good fit. (Also, this site hates links, I know. But if you want to check out the games before the sale goes live, check the Games of Norway website.)

Quick process #timelapse of my latest explorer painting. Started out as a one minute doodle that crashed. I took a photo of it to save it, and then transformed it into something very different.

@actionhankbeard I'm just thankful I was drawing cacti assets at the time. If I was still working on ship levels, things would have gone very differently.

@snakepixel All of these are pretty solid picks and could easily see any of these as a Mega Man boss. I think you made the right call in the end with Cactus Man.

Started with a Vaccume cleaner base where you can see what's been pulled in. It didn't do it for me, so I attempted a pompadour-spout idea. The theme was a mess, but it inspired some of Cactus Man's body shape. Last was a firefighter. Liked the idea, but changed my mind.
