@chinafutureclub Clearly your buying a burger Island side, or in the worst parts of TST. Octopus pay? Please, nobody uses that for anything other than the MTR or an occasional 7-11 drink when desperate. The quality of the city is quite nice, and getting better! Who is telling you these things?

@snarky_guy I can’t even buy a burger in hk without octopus pay. The prices for everything are absurd. 3x Shanghai. The people energy is off.. foreigners everywhere. The overall quality of the city is poor, especially in the roads, pavements and sophistication of the architecture..

@chinafutureclub How long have you been in China? I've been here for almost 40 years man. Hong Kong is wonderful, like a classic Beatles song mixed with techno w/ a bit of Beastie Boys. Shanghai used to be wonderfully complex, but now they're tearing down all the historic spots. Sorry 上海 is #2.

@pnyu188562 @KevinCastley Pudong is rather bare-bones. There is a Starbucks after you pass security (also a Blue Frog now), so I guess it’s gotten better…but still isn’t great.
