Athletes use it w/ rehab & NSAIDs to keep playing while managing symptoms.

@snizztone @flyingelbows_ @TalkeyHockey not a medical expert but I have a condition that affects my joints and a lot of people with my condition use KT tape, it's something I happen to know a lot about and have a lot of experience with.

That's a heavy tape job on that shoulder. We know that almost every time Matthews goes cold, it's because he's hurt. A shoulder injury would certainly affect his shot.

@Sasha_Squid @flyingelbows_ @TalkeyHockey You’re overthinking the presence of KT tape and downplaying how common it is for elite athletes to play through severe injuries and pain. I’m not saying his injury is or isn’t severe. We’re not looking at his medical reports.

@snizztone @flyingelbows_ @TalkeyHockey I can confidently say it isn't a severe injury because he hasn't recently been on the IR and he's using KT tape for support. KT tape provides very low level support. if it was a significant injury, he would be unable to play with just KT tape for support.
