@SnoCoPW Thanks for all you do! When I have to go to the transfer stations and they're busy, it actually makes me happy people are choosing not to dump trash on roadsides and forest land.

Have you ever wondered where your garbage goes? Over 800,000 tons of material was processed by Snohomish County Solid Waste last year. Containers are transported by heavy trucks from our facilities to the Everett intermodal yard before traveling via train to the Roosevelt Regional Landfill in Klickitat County. Empty containers are transported back to our facilities where the process continues to meet the waste disposal needs of our communities.

@Westcoastashhh1 Fear monger? Nope, just realistic and can hold my own in terrible situations. @MrOldGregg The old "you're not from here schtick". Anyone from Western Washing is from "here". We stopped visiting Seattle as a family and doing all the things we enjoyed (shows, dinners, the waterfront, mueseums ... etc) when the "city" went to shit and became unsafe for my kids. Also, lived in Kirkland for some time while working at corporate Starbucks and would have loved the light rail because the busses were always packed. As a a former left leaning center thinker, I disgusted what "the city' has become due to poor leadership and over taxation.
