@clusterofreds1 Maurice Parkin, 19 years on tour, highest ranking 91. Mind, the ranking system was different in those days so he had no ranking for most of his career.

What is a snooker player's longest career without reaching the Top 64? I'm not saying his is, of course, but it feels like Ross Muir has been around forever (I think it's his 8th season on the pro tour?) I think Zhang Anda took longer to reach the Top 64! What do you think? 🤔

James Silverwood has made the fastest colour clearance at 17.52 seconds. Can you beat that? If so let the Guinness guys know.

Ronnie O'Sullivan reaches 1200 career centuries! He leads Hossein Vafaei 12-2 in the second round of snooker's pinnacle event, the @CazooUK World Championship. One frame from the quarter finals... #CazooWorldChampionship

@DylanTaylor793 @RobJF24 Right, wasn't aware of the draws. But its correctly in the head-to-head. So its more like 8 out of 12.

Ahead of this afternoon's showdown, just as a bit of fun, I thought I'd spin this question: whom do you consider to be Ronnie's ultimate nemesis? Higgins? Carter? Murphy? Hoss? Selby? Ebdon? Slessor? (No smart alecs saying 'himself', please 😑)

@musicalsuz Right, you may have a look at my more telling update-tweet on that topic, how many more he would have prob. got.

@snookerbrain1 But the line would have been higher if he'd been bothered. There's no denying he wasn't bothered in early career, he used to play exhibition shots or crazy shots when he got to 80.

What about the myth that Mark Williams was not bothered about centuries in his early career? Compared to Ronnie & John he was making them at a similar rate but with some dips. #Snooker #CazooWorldChampionship #147sf

@Rich_W17 @TSnooker102 @badatsnooker09 @MichaelAstley4 Something like: "Being on a break of 60 Mark turned a similar amount of them into centuries in his early career." But, as I said, more work is needed to figure that out and guess if he'd have 60 or 200 tons more.

@badatsnooker09 @snookerbrain1 @TSnooker102 @MichaelAstley4 And the starting point is already questionable seeing as he said the century rate was similar in the 90s even though it absolutely wasn’t. So then it’s “oh well we can only look at breaks over 60” 🫠🫠🫠

@snookerbrain1 @TSnooker102 @badatsnooker09 @MichaelAstley4 Lol, no, that’s not contradicting myself I’ve been very clear and consistent: you’re wrong about your numbers, there’s a big difference between the 3 players in the 90s, you’re cherry picking a redundant data point, and making up hypothetical numbers for what he “could have” had
