While the waiting list has dropped to its lowest level in three and a half years, over 2.4 million patients wait longer than the 18-week standard, and nearly 94,000 have been waiting over a year. Net migration reduction is due to stricter immigration policies implemented since early 2024 by the Tories and maintained by Labour. So, which achievements? Meanwhile UK jobless rate rises to 5% as vacancies slump to lowest level in five years and Youth unemployment was last this high 11 years ago.
