Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M. The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year. And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.

Most years I don't have a problem with the playoff format, but this year it really is gonna get exposed a bit -- especially in the West. NHL needs to do more to prioritize rivalries in the regular season instead of first round of playoffs

I call BS on the tv start times. The central division tv start times are 9pm local every year. How is that good for getting people to tune in?

@sntimm19 @RussoHockey @PierreVLeBrun You realize Gary works for the owners, right? If the owners wanted a change they would vote for it. The division structure limits travel costs and basically guarantees representation of each division. It also ensures TV start times work for each market in the early rounds.

@sntimm19 @PierreVLeBrun I think this league is very provincial. One thing I always notice on at least story views as the playoffs go along, in the NHL, fans of teams want to read about THEIR teams. my guess is Bettman is weary of that and eyeballs lower as the playoffs move along
