@PeterChughtai @BeverlyHallberg What I was refuting was the statement that if a woman's not married by 30 she'll be single forever. I'll also add that the average age gap for married couples is only 2-3 years. Twitter seems to be the source of a lot of hysteria & incorrect information about marriages in general

I know SO many women in their 30s and 40s who desire marriage and children, and sadly it hasn’t happened. They didn’t choose a career over being a wife or mother; when they couldn’t find a man willing to commit (porn is a significant factor in this), they worked to provide for themselves. Grateful to see @ErickaAndersen highlighting this. Men have been bashed for far too long, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t many serious issues at play.

@kronikcurtis @nguyenhdi I think there's some truth in that too. It can definitely be more challenging to meet new people or make changes once you're "set in your ways".

@so_schilly @nguyenhdi I remember we used to advise guys not to be a bachelor for too long because once you get “set in your ways” in your 30s, it’s harder and harder to meet people and settle down. I think that’s true, not trying to criticize women but party now settle down later strategy seems risky

I'm probably gonna regret tweeting this, but the biggest problem with the incel subculture is that they believe & tell other incels that every single woman in her 30s spent her 20s sleeping around & rejecting marriage proposals because of unrealistic standards. There are a million reasons for a woman to be single in her 30s. Sometimes it's her own fault, sure. But there are lots of reasons (plenty of lovely women have never got a proposal, for example), & incels are making themselves miserable for believing something they made up in their heads.
Free Northerner@FreeNortherner

I reiterate: I find it literally unbelievable that any normal (non-obese, non-BPD) woman in her 30s did not have at least a handful of normal, decent, employed men who would have married her and given her children.

@tyrantresister @Yulscakes @MadelaineLucyH Or, there are always exceptions to every rule. It's a highly unlikely scenario anyway. Most people just want to do their job and then be left alone. Why would they care about a virtual stranger anyway? Enough to be polite, sure, thats basic human decency.

@Yulscakes @MadelaineLucyH You just proved my point. Women don't care about the arbitrary rules that they set for themselves when it actually matters. They just like having a set of ready made excuses for rejecting the guys they actually dom't care about.

Woman: hello, how can I help you today Man: do you want to go on a date with me Woman: no thanks, I don't date hotel guests, sorry What is the most reasonable explanation for what has happened here? a) the woman thinks the man is ugly and beneath her and wants a top 5% male b) the woman wanted to date the man but is not allowed to because of the rules of her job c) the woman does not want to go on a date with a man who has come up to her and asked her out in an inappropriate setting with very little information on him

@kronikcurtis @nguyenhdi 30s is plenty of time. Late 30s may be pushing it, but still. Anecdotally, my 43 YO neighbor is pregnant with her 4th, she had her 1st at 33. And it's much harder entering the job market at 30 with no experience and a huge gap in your resume.

@nguyenhdi 30’s is too late to rush out a family, despite blaming “incels” 😂 Instead of telling women to prioritize a career before a family, maybe we should flip that? there’s no reason after starting a family you can’t go on to have a career. Much harder to change who you are at 32.

@PeterChughtai @BeverlyHallberg That's just not true anymore, average age of marriage is like 30 for men, 28 or 29 for women. In the US anyway. Probably varies based on location, it's more normal to get married young (early 20s) in more rural areas, small towns etc. No one I know got married that young.

@BeverlyHallberg Women in their 30’s and 40’s never think to ask what they offer a man thay a woman in her early twenties doesn’t. The thing is there’s no benefit for the guy to date an older woman seriously. When you don’t choose a man in your twenties you are choosing to remain single.

@3n7rpy @theoraclehq It sounds like to everyone you don't care Later than the line you will look back and feel like a piece of shit. Especially when you come across a guy you actually care about and that would make him feel. And if you don't, then you are just lost.

as someone who has recently doubled their body count over a pretty short period of time, it’s actually really funny to notice that all of the really good sex i had was always with hot people, every time i gave someone that wasn’t that eye catching a chance it was ass

@kiefsherwoodlvr @GordaChechona It is fetish content, apparently. For her OF. And I agree, I know everyone is different and autism is a spectrum but I've known many autistic people, and none of them act like a 5 year old in an adult body.

>Be me >Went out with this girl once that I met on Tinder. >I pick her up, and I'm trying to make conversation. Since we're from the same area, >I tell her where what part of the city I grew up in. She says, "I already know where you have lived since you were a teenager because I did a complete background check on you." Okay, fair enough. >A girl has to protect herself. Her bio said she was into body art, >I asked what kind of tattoos she has. She says everything about her is redacted till further notice and demands we go to Petco because her dog needs a new chew toy. >We're there, and suddenly she puts her hand up and yells, "Stand back ten feet at all times for safety!" >I'm dumbfounded, and she throws down the bag of dog treats she's holding. She grabs me by the arm and yells, "Let's go! Now!" We walk to the Mexican restaurant next door, >I ask the hostess how long the wait is. The lady says 30 minutes. My date screams, "I don't fucking think so!" >I'm once again dragged by my arm out the door. She points to a seafood restaurant in the same complex and says, "There! Immediately!" >We get seated, and as we're looking at the menus, she says, "You know. You're lucky I agreed to go out with you. I don't like going out with ugly guys." She then proceeds to pull out her phone and show me matches she received that she says were better looking than me. >At this point, I've had enough, and I get up to leave. She starts intensly crying and asks if I'm just gonna leave her there. >I said, "Sure. Ask one of the @$$h♡les on your Tinder for a ride home." >A few weeks later, I get a text from her asking if I wanna have s£x. >No way in hell I was taking her up on that, so I just blocked her. *I guess I wasn't so ugly after all.

@RealPostFolder Got catfished by a girl using a pic from 2+ years and -100lbs ago. She spent the whole date telling me about her health problems and how she can’t keep a man because she hates her dad for cheating on her mom. I asked her to drive me home haha.

x.com/ProjectConstit… 🚨 BREAKING: Erika Kirk lied about her degrees. Most CEOs get fired for this: Erika claims on LinkedIn & elsewhere: Graduated Arizona State University 2012 Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Political Science & International Relations/Foreign Affairs. According to official Arizona State University records from the 2011–2012 academic catalog, no bachelor's degree in International Relations or Foreign Affairs was offered at the time. Erika Kirk graduated in spring 2012 with a single major in Political Science—nothing more. Furthermore the official Spring 2012 Commencement Program confirms her graduation but lists her among standard graduates with no academic honors. She did not receive Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or even Cum Laude recognition.

Why do women no longer wear any real clothes and instead are always in athleisure? It’s grotesque. Every single woman at the cafe is dressed in this manner.

@AnnOlivarius Neither are they apparently. Until youre the one who gets up in the night with a glock when there's a noise, you shouldnt have a say. When one side is expected to die for the other, how can you possibly make that equal? You cant. You can obey or go.

More than a third of Gen Z men think "husbands should have the final say on decisions". I understand that young men are lonely, that there is a crisis. How unfair to young men, that young women aren't flocking to sign up for a lifetime of servitude. theguardian.com/world/2026/mar…

@balkanBo1 @bumbadum14 The video this is all in response to was made by a marketing team, and it generated revenue. (A lot, actually.) I’m not gaslighting you when I point out that the HR and project management staff you’re crashing out about have nothing to do with it. Have you read your Saussure?

You’re deeply baffled because you’re stupid. It makes perfect sense that it pissed people off. The men that work with these women have to tolerate their antics, their drama, and interact with them even though they are typically dumb or unknowledgable about the product. You have no idea how many FAANG engineers I know who are baffled by the suggestions from their “product managers” that are just insane and stupid. Then there’s the cohort of unemployed men who see these girls in corporate daycare while it’s literally impossible for them to get a job.
Tomos Doran 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 🇮🇱 🇵🇸@portraitinflesh

I remain deeply baffled by the backlash generated by this video. The very worst you can really say is that it's a bit irritating, and even that's a bit of a stretch, for a silly bit of fun less than twenty seconds long. Yet a non-trivial number of men react with deep, fiery rage.
