It is mental to me that there are people out there who will try and tell you that migration in the UK isn’t the reason for so many issues we face today. 3 million people coming into the country since 2020, 98% of all population growth in that time has been down to migration. That’s 3 million more people who all need: Houses Doctors Dentists As well as potentially needing things like: Benefits Social Care School positions The list goes on, it is insane to me that anyone tries to separate these issues when very simple logic tells you they are obviously linked, you cannot grow something by such huge numbers so quickly and expect existing systems to be able to cope. Controlled migration is very clearly a good thing, getting the right people into the country who are contributors to society and fill gaps in the needs of the country, uncontrolled immigration is absolute suicide.

Took a break after a long day of incredible real motor racing, only to unfortunately discover that the team was disqualified afterward due to a tire set mistake. That is part of sport, rules are there for a reason and must be respected. On to Mario Kart in Japan, and hopefully back to NLS3 in April at the Nürburgring.

The problem you have is Idealistic vs. Realistic. Farage used to talk like Lowe, then he realised the practicalities of actually implementing policies makes the reality quite different. You cannot simple deport millions of people, multiple every single one by a court challenge, by the countries they return to accepting them, the thousands who we don’t know where they are from because they destroy their identification and so on. Lowe hasn’t given any detail whatsoever on *how* he would do any of it, he is just throwing out pie in the sky ideas. In an ideal world, of course that’s what should happen, but we don’t live in that world, practicality and realism MUST be considered.
