I think there are people on the left who are reasonable, and those on the right who are reasonable. And I think there are a large amount on both sides who have hijacked their respective sides and have made parties unbearable. If you can't recognize that there are people who worship Dem politicians just like many on the right then you are lost

Texas politics is exhausting, and now that every MAGA in the country thinks their opinion matters more than ours in the Texas Senate race, I get frustrated. A lot of good people have been silenced by mostly made-up culture wars.

I'm extremely sorry that I cannot provide lists of politicians or famous people off the top of my head. Maybe I'm just fortunate enough to have been surrounded by bible believing Christians in my own life who show a love and grace. In several states I've lived in. Apologies if the personal experience is not good enough of an answer

@soapboxpop @MikeNellis I watched the whole podcast and they did say both sides are just as bad as the other. Actually they said, the Left gave ppl no choice in November… However what is going on right now with this Administration is a disaster!

He should be doing all of those things. But what a Christian shouldn't be doing is taking liberties and getting creative with scripture which unfortunately alot of us Protestants do. But I will push back just a little; I would argue he very much is using the Bible as a weapon. Just more subtly and a means of pandering. Just like many on the right do.

He is actually living it following the two greatest Commandments to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself. He even pray for his enemies and tells them he loves them

And those of us who aren't evangelical like having a Christian who can speak to what we believe instead of the "our way or the highway" way evangelicals talk to us.
