MLB should absolutely not be allowing Shohei Ohtani more time to warm up than any other pitcher. It’s Ohtani’s choice to be a two-way player. Hitters should not have to wait around for additional time between innings because a guy on the other team can’t get warmed up in the same amount of time as everyone else. Either he can handle the rigors of being a two way player or he can’t. But changing the rules for him is ridiculous.

He’s built differently than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but like those chest-down drives that those guys get, it reminded me a little bit of him. But, you know, you watch him in person and you’re like, ‘My God, who’s going to stop this guy?’ He’s scoring in the 30s, the 40s. And, you know, it’s just a stat, but, the first player to lead the SEC in scoring and assists, Maravich did it. That stands out. And in the SEC tournament, I mean, he was not good. He was great. And you’re thinking, how high is this ceiling going to be? And he’s really competitive because he was hurt. Like he played most of the year injured.
