UGC phrases we should leave in 2023 1. “Im obsessed” … are you? Lmaoo can ya give me something else sis? 2. “Literally” I’m guilty of this but it’s… literally… a filler word and you don’t need it. Plus it’s taking up precious seconds you could spend giving me value props 3. Boring and over used hooks “are you tired of___” , “if you ___ then you need ___” , “5 reason you should ___” it’s not that these don’t work they’re just over used. You can say all of these same things in a more unique way What do you say? Should we leave these in 2023? What phrase are you leaving or wanting UGC creators to leave in 2023?

@ThreeDailey I find it creepy & inappropriate. Taking a victim & creating stan culture around them is some chronically online behavior that needs to be addressed as the toxicity it is. Relating to someone & supporting them in their journey is fine. Memes, photo/video edits, etc is creepy asf.

@socialsbyems I’ve never not had problems with Insense. I’ve finally gave up on it and turned off notifications from the app. Their AI and favoritism towards brands already had my foot in the door.

What’s a #UGC line that makes your cringe or is completely overused? Sound off below. For me it’s “if you’re like me….” I don’t think it’s overused like “I’m obsessed” but for some reason, when I hear that, I say “I’m not like you.” Then I move on instead of watching all the way through.

@Robynmsocials I don’t do them. I feel like there’s not much to say over the phone that can’t be put in a brief, email, contract, etc. I truly dislike doing them but can understand how some see the benefit.

@UGCOpportunity I live in a smaller city in the Midwest and even here it’s getting bad. The average income here is $2,600/mo and a halfway decent 1-2br house runs $1200-$1600. You can find a nice studio for $800 or so, but most of us need more than that. 😕
