My father did not immigrate from Italy after the war, assimilate to the ways of life in Canada, raise his family as true Canadians, only to have Canada turn into a country worse than Mussolini's Italy. Seniors are losing their homes, living in their cars. Tent cities everywhere. Food bank usage at an all time high. Young men suffering from mental health issues. People are so demoralized, they are losing hope. The anger is bubbling just below the surface. We did not agree to have the government control every facet of our lives. Carney runs the government like it's a Fortune 500 corporation and he's the CEO. There's no discussion. To him, we are merely cash cows. He does not care about the welfare of the citizens.
