Anyone know if the lag in image targets has been fixed since the early Apple Vision Pro days?

Many have asked, so here is my test project showing the ~1fps lag with image tracking in visionOS's ARKit. I just anchored a simple sphere onto a well-embellished image. This red envelope 🧧 tracks 100% smoothly on iOS, but as you can see, it's not even close on the Vision Pro.

Has VanMoof gone bust? Maybe. The store has been down for 5 days due to "unscheduled maintenance". Booking a repair says they have no parts. Now a notice says "sales on pause" so they catch up on production – this from the company famous for using preorders as working capital.

@benbyford I’d argue the changing compute hardware is what’s enabled ML to get to where it’s at. Without advances in GPU tech it wouldn’t be where it is and those advances are continuing (see Apple Neural Engine)

Us as intelligences have a changing hardware which has its own stuff it does and then we have this macro centre (the brain), are we not only concentrating only on the macro in #ML??

Had a mad realisation about #agi recently - if we’re borrowing from biology then there’s the software & the hardware… BUT the hardware doesn’t account for DNA & the factor the hardware has effectively a mind of its own (obviously not totally, but it’s analogy) ½

@benbyford @midjourney_ai Honestly the whole thing seems like magic but there’s noise in the network from training, and the idea is similar to a GAT (in that there’s a discriminator), have a look at this for a bit of an explanation
